Chief Minister H.D. kumaraswamy today visited NIMHANS and enquired about the health of Venugopal, the youth who allegedly attempted suicide at a Metro station and instilled confidence in him.
It was said that Venugopal had failed in one subject in SSLC and he attempted suicide as he was annoyed by his mother , a tailor, insisting on passing that paper. Hence Chief Minister advised him not to resort to such extreme steps, instead understand the concern of the parents.
Venugopal , while speaking to the Chief Minister, said that he didn’t attempt suicide and actually he was not aware what was going on at that moment.
In the background of this incident Chief Minister has said that it is natural to see students and their parents under pressure. During this time school/colleges and parents have to create an environment to make students without any stress and similarly students must take the advice’s of their parents and teachers with sportive spirit and concentrate on their studies, appealed Chief Minister
