The second phase of voting for Lok Sabha polls is being held today on Tuesday in 14 LS constituencies of Karnataka. Total 237 candidates are in the fray.
The voting will be held from 7.00 am to 6.00 pm. total 28022 polling booths are being readied and 2,43,03,279 voters will cast their votes. Many stalwarts including 9 sitting MPs are testing their luck today. BJP has contested in all 14 constituencies. Congress is contesting in Bellary, Raichur, Koppal, Bagalkot, Bidar, Kalburgi, Davanagere, Belagavi, Chikkodi, Dharwad and Haveri. JDS candidates are contesting in Shivamogga, Vijayapur and Uttara Kannada Lok Sabha polls.
The second phase election is has become the symbol of prestige for former Chief Ministers Siddaramaih and B. S Yedyurappa. Opposition leader in Lok Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge, sons of two former Chief Ministers and former union minister and KPCC g president are in the contest.

Uttara Kannada – Anant kumar Hegde (BJP) and Anand Asnotikar (Cong)
Bagalkot – P C Gaddigaudar (BJP) and Veena Kashappanavar (Cong)
Belagavi – Suresh Angadi (BJP) and V S Sadhunnavar (Cong)
Chikkodi – Prakash Hukkeri (Cong) Annasaheb Jolle (BJP)
