*ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ವಿನೂತನ ಯೋಜನೆ: ತೆರೆಯಲಿದೆ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲು*
ವಿದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಾಸಂಗ ಮಾಡುವವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಲು ವಿಶೇಷ ಮೇಳ
ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ: ವಿದೇಶ ವ್ಯಾಸಂಗ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ ಈಗ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಕೈಗೆಟುಕಲಿದೆ. ವಿದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಕನಸು ಕಂಡಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ಅದು ನನಸಾಗುವ ಕಾಲ ಬಂದಿದೆ.
ಇದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಹೊಸ ಯೋಜನೆಯಿಂದ. ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ದುರ್ಬಲವಾಗಿರುವ, ಮಧ್ಯಮವರ್ಗದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಹ ಈಗ ವಿದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ಯಾವುದೇ ತೊಂದರೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೇ ಪಡೆಯಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ.
ಕೌಶಲ್ಯ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಅಡಿಯ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ತರಬೇತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕೌಶಲ್ಯ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ನಿಗಮ (ಕೆವಿಟಿಎಸ್‌ಡಿಸಿ) ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 17 ರ ಭಾನುವಾರ ಹೋಟೆಲ್ ಲಲಿತ್ ಅಶೋಕ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವಿದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮೇಳ – 2025 ಅನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದೆ.
ಈ ವಿಶೇಷ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ 50 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಇದೆ. ಈ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ವಿಶ್ವದ ಟಾಪ್ 500 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆದಿವೆ.
ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಬುಧವಾರ ನಡೆದ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ, ಜೀವನೋಪಾಯ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಯಚೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಉಸ್ತುವಾರಿ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಡಾ. ಶರಣ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಆರ್‌. ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು.
“ಸಮಾಜದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವರ್ಗದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡುವ ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ಇದೇ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತರಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು, ಪೋಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಈ ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಸದುಪಯೋಗಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಇದು “ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲು” ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವಿದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಾಸಂಗ ಮಾಡಲು ಭಾರತದಿಂದ ತೆರಳಿದ ನಂತರ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲ ರೀತಿಯ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಒದಗಿಸುವುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಬೆಂಬಲಿತ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಆಪ್ತವಾಗಿರಲಿದೆ. ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾನೂನು ನೆರವು ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ದೊರೆಯಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವರು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಎಕ್ಸ್‌ಪೋದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಾರ್ಹತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪಾರದರ್ಶಕತೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ. ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಆಯ್ಕೆ, ಏಜೆನ್ಸಿ ಶುಲ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಉಚಿತ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ನಾವು ನೀಡುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಡಾ. ಶರಣಪ್ರಕಾಶ್‌ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

Karnataka Opens Global Education Doors to All with First-of-its-Kind Study Abroad Fair
Bengaluru, Aug. 13: Studying abroad is no longer a privilege reserved for the wealthy. With the Karnataka government’s new initiative, even students from economically weaker backgrounds can now dream of pursuing higher education overseas—without breaking the bank.
The Karnataka Vocational Training and Skill Development Corporation (KVTSDC), under the department of skill development is set to host the International Study Abroad Fair – 2025 on Sunday, August 17 at Hotel Lalit Ashok. The one-day event will bring together over 50 leading global universities—all ranked among the top 500 worldwide by various survey agencies.
“This is the first time in the country that an opportunity to study abroad is being made accessible to students from all sections of society,” said Dr. Sharanaprakash R Patil, minister for medical education and skill development, while announcing the event at Vidhana Soudha on Wednesday.
The minister urged students, parents and educators to make the most of this opportunity, calling it a “gateway to global education that leaves no one behind.”
Unlike most private programs that end support once students leave India, this government-backed initiative ensures assistance even after they arrive in their host country—covering welfare, academic progress and legal aid. The expo also promises credibility and transparency, offering free guidance without agency fees, from university selection to post-departure support.
Highlights of the expo include — one-on-one sessions with university representatives; spot scholarships and eligibility assessments; guidance on admissions, visas, financial planning, health insurance, language proficiency and visa submissions and representation from universities in Australia, the UK, the USA, Ireland, New Zealand and the Middle East.
