Pragativahini News, Vijayapur : Amid preventing people movement on roads to avoid spreading of Corona Virus, the Vijayapur police had to encounter a rare headache case on Thursday as two girls had approached them and urged them to make their wedding as early as possible as they were not in a position to stay away each other.
Both the girls are from Kelakeri village in Sindagi taluk of the district and the classmates of a same college in the village. The girls told police that they were in love since about six months and now not in a condition to live without each other. Knowing that their parents and society never accept their love and allow for their wedding told police that they would die if they (police) not make their marriage. The girls are below 20-year of age.
Police, after making vain attempt to convince the girls planned to refer the case to Mahila Santwana Kendra and Sadwa Women Counseling centre, however, found girls sending to the referral centers was risky, police made them to be in the station, called tbe Mahila Santwana Kendra and handed over the girls to its position and also informed to the parents of both the girls.
