Unwavering Public Commitment Despite No Ministerial Post: Massive Crowd at Laxmi Hebbalkar’s Janata Darshan

Belagavi, June 10: Public representative and former minister Laxmi Hebbalkar held a ‘Janata Darshan’ (public grievance meeting) at her home office in Belagavi on Wednesday to listen to the grievances of the public.

A massive number of people arrived from various parts of the district, including rural and urban areas, to place their personal and public grievances before her. People submitted petitions regarding issues spanning various departments, including land, revenue, social security schemes, women and child welfare, drinking water, roads, education, and health.

Despite her not holding a ministerial position, there was no decline in the rush of people eager to meet Laxmi Hebbalkar. People stood in queues at her home office since early morning to submit their grievances, standing as a testament to the trust the public reposes in her as a representative.

Listening patiently to everyone’s grievances, Laxmi Hebbalkar contacted the relevant officials over the phone and directed them to resolve several issues on the spot. She instructed officials to prioritize cases requiring immediate action.

Speaking on the occasion, she said:

“The trust and love people have placed in me is my strength. Power and positions are not permanent, but the relationship with the people is permanent. Responding to people’s problems is my duty, and whether I hold a position or not, public service will continue uninterrupted.”

Party leaders, workers, and supporters were present at the Janata Darshan held at the home office, receiving petitions from the public and extending the necessary cooperation.

The overwhelming response to Laxmi Hebbalkar’s Janata Darshan, despite her not holding a ministerial post, proved once again that her popular support base and public connection in the Belagavi Rural constituency remain unwavering.
