Reacting sharply to the criticism made by B. S. Yedyurappa, State BJP president, Chief Minister Kumaraswamy said that Yedyurappa should stop issuing baseless statements against him.
It can be recalled that referring to the CM Kumarswamy’s Udupi tour where CM will undergo some naturopathy treatments, Yedyurappa had alleged the state government is out for the enjoyment when the state is under facing the draught situation.
Criticising Yedyurappa for his statement Kumaraswamy said that few days ago Yedyurappa had written a letter to the Election Commission not to allow the state government to invite tenders for the developmental works as the model code of conduct is still in force. Same Yedyurappa is now criticising the government. This shows the double standards of Yedyurappa, Kumaraswamy said.
Kumaraswamy said that he was in perfect coordination with the Chief Secretary and Secretaries of different departments and has already discussed with them about the draught condition in the state. ‘we have many efficient and competent officers and they are looking after everything. These officials are apprising me the developments time to time’ Kumaraswamy said.
Kumaraswamy said that the health tourism in the state is gaining importance and I am undergoing treatment in one of such centres. Yedyurappa should stop issuing such statement only for getting publicity, Kumaraswamy opined.
