Hinduism teaches the protection of environment. We protected the environment for thousand years. For Hindus this one-day drama of celebration of Environment day is just a joke, said Anant kumar Hegde MP from Uttara Kannada.
In a message in the social media Anant kumar said that for Hindus living with the environment is a custom. The basics of the Sanatana dharma is protection of the environment he said. The protection of the environment is the way of life of Hindu religion. It is in our blood. If we say this some headstrong people connect it with the communalism. We can’t help them, Anant kumar said.
For Hindus the protection of the environment is not a task. It is like protecting our mother. It is not work it is duty. It should be transferred to our next generation Anant kumar said.
