ಮೈಸೂರಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಸಿಎಂ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಿತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಶಾಸಕರು ಸಚಿವರು ಈಗ ಅದನ್ನೇ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರ ಮೊದಲೇ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೂ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಏನೂ ಆಗಿಲ್ಲ ಅನ್ನೋ ರೀತಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರದ ಕಿತ್ತಾಟ ತಾರಕಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿದೆ. ಈ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಯಾವಾಗ ಕಿತ್ತು ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಜನರು ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ವಾಗ್ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಸುಳ್ಳಿನ ರಾಜಕಾರಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮುಂಬರುವ ದಸರಾವನ್ನು ಸಿಎಂ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಮಾಡೋದಿಲ್ಲ. ದಸರಾದ ಒಳಗೆ ಸಿಎಂ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ಆಗಲಿದೆ. ನಾನು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಸದನದಲ್ಲೂ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಸಿಎಂ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ಆಗಿಯೇ ಆಗತ್ತದೆ.ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಕುರ್ಚಿಗೆ ಕಚ್ಚಾಟ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದು ಕೇವಲ ಟ್ರೈಲರ್ ಅಷ್ಟೇ. ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪಿಕ್ಚರ್ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಮಾಜಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಇಂದಿರಾಗಾಂಧಿ ಹೇರಿದ ತುರ್ತು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷ ಸಮರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆಯೇ ಅಥವಾ ವಿರೋಧ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆಯೇ ಎಂದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟನೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಪಕ್ಷ ನಾಯಕ ಆರ್.ಅಶೋಕ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು.
ತುರ್ತು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಹೇರಿಕೆಗೆ 50 ವರ್ಷ ಸಂದ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ, ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ವಿಜಯನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಾಯಕರಿಗೆ ಸಂವಿಧಾನದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಗೌರವ ಇದ್ದರೆ, ಜನರ ಮುಂದೆ ಕ್ಷಮೆ ಕೇಳಬೇಕು. ತುರ್ತು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ಜನರನ್ನು ಜೈಲಿಗಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು. ಜೈಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರು ಸತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಇವ್ಯಾವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಈವರೆಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ನೀಡಿಲ್ಲ. ತುರ್ತು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆಯೇ ಎಂದಾದರೂ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟನೆ ನೀಡಲಿ. ಏನೂ ಹೇಳದೆ ಕಳ್ಳಾಟ ಆಡುವುದು ಸರಿಯಲ್ಲ. ಈ ಐವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ತುರ್ತು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ತಪ್ಪು ಎಂದು ಯಾವುದೇ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಾಯಕರು ಹೇಳಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರು.
ಇಂದಿರಾಗಾಂಧಿ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಕೋರ್ಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ತೀರ್ಪು ಬಂದು ಸದಸ್ಯತ್ವ ರದ್ದಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅದಾದ ನಂತರ ಇಂದಿರಾಗಾಂಧಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ತುರ್ತು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಹೇರಿದರು. ಆದರೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಾಯಕರು, ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಎಂದರೆ ಇಂದಿರಾ ಎನ್ನುವಂತಹ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ತಂದಿದ್ದರು. ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂವಿಧಾನಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಬೇರಾವುದೂ ದೊಡ್ಡದಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಗೊತ್ತಾದಾಗ ಇಂದಿರಾಗಾಂಧಿ ಇಂತಹ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿಯನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು ಎಂದು ದೂರಿದರು.
ಆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಟಲ್‌ ಬಿಹಾರಿ ವಾಜಪೇಯಿ, ಎಲ್‌.ಕೆ.ಅಡ್ವಾಣಿ ಮೊದಲಾದ ನಾಯಕರನ್ನು ಜೈಲಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ನಾನು ಕೂಡ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಜೈಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳು ಇದ್ದೆ. ಆಗ ಇಂದಿರಾ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಬಂಧಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ತಮ್ಮನನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ಶಾಸಕ ಸುರೇಶ್‌ಕುಮಾರ್‌ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಬಂಧಿಸಿ ಹೊಡೆದಿದ್ದರು. ನಾನು ಆಗ ಕಾಲೇಜು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದೆ ಎಂದು ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.
ದೇಶಪ್ರೇಮಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸಿಎಂ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಬೇಕು. ಆಗ ಪ್ರಗತಿಪರರು ಏನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಿಸಬೇಕು. ನಾವು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಇವರು ಯಾರೂ ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡಿಲ್ಲ. ಆಗಿನ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ಸೇ ಬೇರೆ, ಈಗಿನ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ಸೇ ಬೇರೆ. ಈಗಿನದ್ದು ನಕಲಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್. ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಂದು ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಷ್ಠರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆ ವಂಶಕ್ಕೆ ಸಲಾಂ ಹೊಡೆಯುವುದು ಈಗಿನ ನಾಯಕರಿಗೆ ರೂಢಿಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಮೋದಿ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಟೀಕೆ
ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೆ ಅಪಾಯಕಾರಿ, ಆದರೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಅಪಾಯಕಾರಿ ಎಂದು ಅಟಲ್‌ ಬಿಹಾರಿ ವಾಜಪೇಯಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರು. ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಸರ್ವಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಇದೇ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ನವರು ತುರ್ತು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಹೇರಿದ್ದರು. ಆಗಿನಂತೆ ಈಗ ಯಾವ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ಮುಚ್ಚಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ನ್ಯಾಯಾಂಗದ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಒತ್ತಡ ಹೇರಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಯಾವಾಗ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಮುಂದೂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಲಿ ಎಂದರು.
ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಘೋಷಿತ ತುರ್ತು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಿಎಂ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇವರು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ತಡೆದಿಲ್ಲ. ವಿದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ದೇಶದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟದಾಗಿ ಮಾತಾಡುವುದನ್ನೂ ಯಾರೂ ತಡೆದಿಲ್ಲ. ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏನು ಬರೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಗ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಈಗ ಅಂತಹ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರು.
ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯಿಂದ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಬದಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಟೀಕಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ತುರ್ತು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ನವರೇ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು. ಡಾ.ಬಿ.ಆರ್.ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್‌ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ನವರ ಮನೆ ಆಸ್ತಿ ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್‌ ಸತ್ತಾಗ ಅವರ ಸಮಾಧಿಗೆ ಜಾಗ ನೀಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಂದಿರಾಗಾಂಧಿ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಸತ್ತಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸಮಾಧಿಗೆ ಜಾಗ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು. ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್‌ಗೆ ಭಾರತರತ್ನ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಎಲ್ಲ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಜನರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು.
ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಎಂ ಕುರ್ಚಿ ಬದಲಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಕ್ರಾಂತಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವರೇ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಇಡೀ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಒಡೆದ ಮನೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಬಾರಿಯ ದಸರಾ ಆಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಸ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಮಾಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದರು.

Opposition Leader R. Ashok demanded that the Congress party clarify whether it supports or opposes the Emergency imposed by former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
Speaking at an event in Vijayanagar, Mysuru, marking 50 years since the imposition of the Emergency, he said:
If Congress leaders have any respect for the Constitution, they should apologize to the people. During the Emergency, lakhs of people were jailed, and many freedom fighters died in prison. Congress has not provided any answers for this. They should at least clarify whether they support the Emergency. It is not right to evade the issue. In these 50 years, no Congress leader has admitted that the Emergency was wrong.
When a court ruled that Indira Gandhi had committed electoral fraud, leading to the cancellation of her membership, she imposed the Emergency to retain her position as Prime Minister. Congress leaders created an atmosphere where “India is Indira.” When it became clear that nothing is above the Constitution, Indira Gandhi took such steps and even amended the Constitution, he alleged.
During that time, leaders like Atal Bihari Vajpayee and L.K. Advani were imprisoned. I, too, was in Bengaluru jail for a month. Back then, saying “Indira” would lead to arrests by the police. They arrested and beat me, my brother, and MLA Suresh Kumar. I was a college student at the time, he recalled.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who claims to be a patriot, should speak on this issue. He should answer what the so-called progressives were doing back then. Those who claim to have fought for independence did not participate in any struggle. The Congress of that time is different from today’s Congress, which is a fake Congress. They are all loyal to one family, and saluting that dynasty has become a habit for today’s leaders, he said.
Criticism of PM Modi
Atal Bihari Vajpayee had said that Congress is dangerous when in power and even more dangerous when out of power. They call Prime Minister Narendra Modi a dictator, but it was Congress that imposed the Emergency. They should tell us which newspaper has been shut down now, where pressure has been put on the judiciary, or when elections have been postponed, he said.
CM Siddaramaiah claims there is an undeclared emergency in the country. Nobody has stopped their children from contesting elections. Nobody has prevented them from going abroad and speaking ill of the country. During the Emergency, the police decided what newspapers could publish. No such situation exists now, he said.
They criticize that the BJP will change the Constitution, but it was Congress that amended the Constitution for the Emergency. They treat Dr. B.R. Ambedkar as their family property. When Ambedkar died, they didn’t provide space for his memorial. Space was given only when members of Indira Gandhi’s family died. When BJP came to power for the first time, Ambedkar was awarded the Bharat Ratna. These facts must be told to the people, he said.
In September, the CM’s chair will change, and a revolution will take place, as ministers themselves are saying. The entire Congress is a divided house. This year’s Dasara celebrations will be conducted by a new Chief Minister, he added.
