ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ:“ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಉಜ್ವಲ ಯೋಜನೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಸೌದೆ ಒಲೆ ಯೋಜನೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಅಚ್ಛೇದಿನ ಏನಾಯ್ತು? ಈಗ ಇರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಚ್ಚಾ ದಿನ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾ? ಎಂದು ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ನಾಯಕರನ್ನು ಕೇಳಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ಡಿಸಿಎಂ ಡಿ.ಕೆ. ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ವಾಗ್ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿದರು.
ಕೆಪಿಸಿಸಿ ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ನಡೆದ ಜಂಟಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಪಿಸಿಸಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಡಿಸಿಎಂ ಡಿ.ಕೆ. ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
“ಪಂಚರಾಜ್ಯ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಜನರು ಪರದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಹೊಟೇಲ್ ಗಳು ಬಂದ್ ಆಗುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಜನ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಒಲೆ ಬಳಸುವ ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯತೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿದೆ. ಕಳೆದ ಹದಿನೈದು ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಬಳಕೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ 10% ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಸೌದೆ ಭಾಗ್ಯ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು, ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಸೌದೆ ಒದಗಿಸುವುದು?” ಎಂದು ಲೇವಡಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
“ಯುದ್ಧಗಳ ನೆಪ, ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ತಪ್ಪು ನಿರ್ಧಾರ, ನೀತಿಗಳಿಂದಾಗಿ ಇಂದು ದೇಶದ ಜನ ಬೆಲೆ ಏರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ನರಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಡುಗೆ ಅನಿಲ ಸಿಲಿಂಡರ್ ಬೆಲೆ ಏರಿಕೆ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ, ಟೋಲ್ ಶುಲ್ಕ, ರೈಲ್ವೇ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ದರ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೆಲವು ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಬೆಲೆ ಏರಿಕೆ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಯಾವ ರೀತಿ ಟೀಕೆ ಟಿಪ್ಪಣಿ ಬಂದಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಗೊತ್ತಿದೆ. ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಬೆಲೆ ಏರಿಕೆ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ” ಎಂದರು.
“ಜನರನ್ನ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಫೂಲ್ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ನಾವು ಪಾದಯಾತ್ರೆ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಈ ಬೆಲೆ ಏರಿಕೆ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಿಂದ ಜನರು ಕಂಗೆಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು, ಜನರ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಸುಧಾರಿಸಲು ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಐದು ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿ ಯೋಜನೆ ನೀಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಶಕ್ತಿ ತುಂಬಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಈಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ನೀಡಿವೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
“900 ಔಷಧಗಳ ದರ ಏರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. 12% ಜಿಎಸ್ ವಿಧಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಎನ್ ಪಿಪಿಎ ಬೆಲೆ ಏರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಇವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಶೇ 10.7 ರಷ್ಟು ಇದ್ದ ತೆರಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಶೇ 12 ಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಗತ್ಯ ವಸ್ತುಗಳಾದ ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಪೈಪ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಇತರೇ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ಬೆಲೆಯನ್ನು ಟನ್ ಗೆ 7 ಸಾವಿರ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಲೋಕೋಪಯೋಗಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಿಂದ ಬಿಟುಮಿನ್ ಹಾಕಲು ಟೆಂಡರ್ ಕರೆಯಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಕೆಲಸ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಬೆಲೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳದಿಂದ ಕೆಲಸ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸುವುದು ಬೇಡ ಸರ್ಕಾರವೇ ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಬಿಟುಮಿನ್ ಅನ್ನು ಸರಬರಾಜು ಮಾಡಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆದಾರರು ಹಾಗೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ” ಎಂದರು.
ಸಿಮೆಂಟ್, ಕಬ್ಬಿಣ ಬೆಲೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ
“ಸಿಮೆಂಟ್ ಬೆಲೆಯೂ ಸಹ 50 ರಿಂದ 100 ರೂಪಾಯಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರ ಹಿಂದೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಿಮೆಂಟ್ ಮಾಫಿಯಾವೇ ಇದೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ಯಾರು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಗೊತ್ತಿದೆ. ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಬೆಲೆ 47 ಸಾವಿರದಿಂದ 59 ಸಾವಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳವಾಗಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಾದರೆ ಜನಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಮನೆ ಕಟ್ಟುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ. ಇದಿರಿಂದ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಹಿನ್ನಡೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೇ ಇದ್ದಕ್ಕಿದ್ದಂತೆ ವಿಮಾನ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದರವನ್ನ ಶೇ 18 ರಷ್ಟು ಏರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
“ಅರಣ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಜನರು ಹೋಗಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿರುವ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸೌದೆ ಅಭಾವ ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಹಳ್ಳಿಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಸಹ ಗ್ಯಾಸ್ ಬಳಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಜನ ಸೌದೆ ಬಳಸುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಒಮ್ಮೆಲೆ ಬಳಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದರೆ ಅಭಾವ ಉಂಟಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಬ್ಲಾಕ್ ಮಾರ್ಕೆಟ್ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದು 2 ಸಾವಿರದವರೆಗೆ ಗೃಹಬಳಕೆ ಗ್ಯಾಸ್, 4 ಸಾವಿರದವರೆಗೆ ಕಮರ್ಷಿಯಲ್ ಗ್ಯಾಸ್ ಬೆಲೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದೆ” ಎಂದರು.
ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಂತೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಲಿ
“ಶೇ 34 ರಷ್ಟು ಪೋಸ್ಟಲ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಪಾರ್ಸಲ್ ಚಾರ್ಜ್ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹೀಗಾದರೆ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಜನ ಹೇಗೆ ಬದುಕಬೇಕು. ಅಚ್ಚೇದಿನ ಏನಾಯಿತು. ಹೀಗೆ ಮುಂದುವರೆದರೆ ಜನಸಮಾನ್ಯರು ಹೇಗೆ ಬದುಕಬೇಕು. ನಾವು ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಜನ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಉಸಿರಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದೇ ರೀತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಜನಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರ ಬವಣೆಯ ಜೊತೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ನಿಲ್ಲುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಬೆಲೆ ಏರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ತತ್ತರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ನೆರವಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ” ಎಂದರು.
“ಮೋದಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಪ್ರತಿನಿತ್ಯ ಜನರ ಜೋಬಿನಿಂದ ಪಿಕ್ ಪಾಕೆಟ್ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಮೈಸೂರು ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ 900 ಕೋಟಿ ವಸೂಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಅದೇ ಹಣ ನಮಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಭಾಗದ ರಸ್ತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು” ಎಂದರು.
Centre’s Ujwala scheme has become a ‘Firewood stove scheme’: DCM D K Shivakumar
Bengaluru, March 31: Lashing out at the BJP government in the Centre for rising prices amid fuel shortage, Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar today said that the Ujwala scheme has become a firewood stove scheme.
Addressing a joint press conference at the KPCC office, the DCM, who is also the KPCC President, questioned, “What happened to Acche Din? Should we now call what we have ‘Kaccha Din’? I want to ask BJP leaders this question.”
“Elections are underway in five states. Hotels are shutting down and people are being forced to use electric stoves. Over the last fifteen days, electricity consumption in the state has risen by 10%. The Central government has given people a ‘firewood blessing’, but where will the firewood come from?” he said.
“Due to Central government’s wrong decisions and policies, people across the country are suffering from price rise. It’s not just cooking gas cylinder prices, toll charges and railway ticket fares have all gone up. Everyone knows how much criticism was directed at the state government when it was compelled under certain unavoidable circumstances to raise prices. The Central government is waging a price war against ordinary people,” he said.
“The Central government is fooling the people. When we undertook a padayatra, we saw how distressed people were due to price rise. To strengthen their financial position, our government gave them five guarantee schemes. Now our guarantee schemes are providing financial protection to the people,” he said.
“Prices of 900 medicines have been increased. 12% GST has been imposed. Through NPPA price revision, tax on these medicines has been hiked from 10.7% to 12%. Prices of essential items including plastic pipes have been raised by ₹7,000 per tonne. Tenders have already been called by the Public Works Department for laying bitumen, and work has already begun. I have informed contractors and officials in Bengaluru that rather than halting work due to price increases, the government will directly supply bitumen,” he said.
Cement and Iron Price Hike
“Cement prices have also risen by ₹50 to ₹100 per bag. There is a big cement mafia behind this, everyone knows who is controlling it. Iron prices have gone up from ₹47,000 to ₹59,000 per tonne. How can ordinary people build homes under these circumstances? This is also causing setbacks to government construction works. On top of this, airfare has been suddenly increased by 18%,” he hit out.
“Since people have been told not to enter forests, the shortage of firewood will genuinely worsen. Even in villages, gas usage has increased and people have stopped using firewood. If consumption suddenly spikes, there will be a shortage. The black market is already active — domestic gas prices have gone up to ₹2,000 and commercial gas to ₹4,000,” he said.
Centre should create alternative arrangements like the Guarantee schemes
“Postal and parcel charges have been increased by 34%. What happened to ‘Acche Din’? If this continues, how will common people survive? It is only because of our guarantees that people are able to breathe a little. In the same way, the Central government must create alternative arrangements. The Centre is not standing by the people in these difficult times. We demand that the Central government come to the aid of people reeling under price rise,” he urged.
“The Modi government is picking people’s pockets every single day. The Central government has collected ₹900 crore on the Bengaluru–Mysuru highway. If the Central government gave us that same money, we could develop roads in rural areas,” he said.
