ಸೋಲುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದರೂ ಬಿಲ್ ತಂದಿದ್ದು ಬಿಜೆಪಿ
ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ: “ತರಾತುರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಹೋದ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖಭಂಗವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟದ ಜಯವಾಗಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಡಿಸಿಎಂ ಡಿ.ಕೆ. ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಸದಾಶಿವನಗರದ ನಿವಾಸದ ಬಳಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಭಾನುವಾರ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಲೋಕಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ ಮಸೂದೆಗೆ ಸೋಲಾಗಿರುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, “ಮಲ್ಲಿಕಾರ್ಜುನ ಖರ್ಗೆ, ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಅವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ವಿಂಗಡಣೆ ವಿರುದ್ದ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟಿಸಿದ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಭಾರತದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳ ಹೋರಾಟಕ್ಕೆ, ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಂತಹ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜಯ. ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷ ಹಾಗೂ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟ ನಿಂತಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಅವಮಾನವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದರು.
“ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಿತ್ತು. ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಕಾಯ್ದೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಕನಸು ಮತ್ತು ಕೂಸು. ಇದರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷ. ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಸರಿಯಾದ ಸಮಯವಲ್ಲ. ನಮ್ಮದು ಹಿಟ್ಲರ್ ಆಡಳಿತವಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದರು.
“ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳ ಜೊತೆ ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಸಬೇಕಿತ್ತು. ಚುನಾವಣೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಹೊತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲೇ ತರುವ ಪ್ರಮೇಯವೇನಿತ್ತು. ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂದರು.
ಸೋಲುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದರೂ ಬಿಲ್ ತಂದಿದ್ದು ಬಿಜೆಪಿ
ವಿಪಕ್ಷಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ದ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, “ಬಿಲ್ ಸೋಲುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಗೊತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ ತಂದವರು ಅವರು. ಅವರುಗಳು ಮಹಿಳಾ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳು. ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳಲ್ಲವೇ? ಇವರುಗಳು ಜನರಿಂದ ಗೆದ್ದಿಲ್ಲವೇ? ಅವರುಗಳು ಇದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಬೇಕಿತ್ತು, ಚರ್ಚೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಿತ್ತು. ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಬಿಲ್ ಅವರ ಆಸ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲ. ದೇಶದ ಆಸ್ತಿ” ಎಂದರು.
“ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ರಾಜೀವ್ ಗಾಂಧಿಯವರು ಶೇ 50 ರಷ್ಟು ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ತಂದಿದ್ದರು. ಸೋನಿಯಾಗಾಂಧಿ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಬಿಲ್ ಪಾಸ್ ಆಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಬಿಲ್ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಭಾರತದ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿ ಉತ್ತರ ಭಾರತದ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಾಡಲು ಹೊರಟಿರುವುದು ಸರಿಯಲ್ಲ. ಇದನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ನಮ್ಮನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕರೆದು ಚರ್ಚೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಿತ್ತು” ಎಂದರು.
Hasty Constitutional Amendment by the Centre; Victory for INDIA Alliance: DCM D K Shivakumar
Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar today said that the defeat of hastily introduced Constitutional Amendment Bill was a humiliation for the BJP government in the Centre and a victory for the INDIA alliance.
Speaking to reporters at his Sadashivanagar residence, he said, “This is a great victory for the struggles of Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and all the Chief Ministers of South India who protested against delimitation. It is a victory for democracy. The Congress party and the INDIA alliance stand in support of women.” He was replying when asked about the defeat of the Women’s Reservation Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha.
“When amending the Constitution, everyone should have been taken into confidence. The Women’s Reservation Act is the dream of the Congress party. It was Congress that worked in its favour. But the decision made now by the BJP government is not the right time. Ours is not a Hitler-style governance,” he said.
“In a democratic system, discussions should have been held with Opposition parties. What was the need to bring it at a time when elections are ongoing? I extend my congratulations to all members of the INDIA alliance,” he said.
BJP introduced the Bill even knowing it would fail
When asked about BJP’s protests against the Opposition, he said, “They are the ones who brought the Bill very well knowing it would be defeated. They are anti-women. Are we not all representatives in a democracy? Were they not elected by the people? They should have spoken about this, held discussions. The Women’s Reservation Bill is not their property — it belongs to the nation.”
“Earlier, Rajiv Gandhi had brought 50% reservation. The Women’s Reservation Bill was passed in the Rajya Sabha under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi. Under this Bill, attempting to cut constituencies in South India and increase those in North India is wrong. This cannot be tolerated. They should have called all of us and held discussions,” he said.
