*ಮಹಿಳಾ ಸಬಲೀಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಸ ದಿಕ್ಕು: 10 ಉಚಿತ ಇವಿ ಆಟೋ ವಿತರಿಸಿದ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಸಚಿವ ರಾಮಲಿಂಗ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ*
ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ: ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಸ್ವಾವಲಂಬನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಸಿರು ನಗರ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಉತ್ತೇಜನ ನೀಡುವ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಾಗಿ, ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಸಚಿವ ರಾಮಲಿಂಗ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ ಕೊರಮಂಗಲ ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕವಾಗಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಹಾಗೂ ಮಂಗಳಮುಖಿಯರಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತ 10 ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಿಕ್ ವಾಹನ (ಇವಿ) ಆಟೋಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಸ್ವಾವಲಂಬಿ, ಗೌರವಯುತ ಹಾಗೂ ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರ ಜೀವನ ನಡೆಸಲು ಆಶಿಸುವ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಇವಿ ಆಟೋಗಳನ್ನು ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ನೀಡಿರುವುದು ಸಂತೃಪ್ತಿ ತಂದಿದೆ. ಪರಿಸರ ಸ್ನೇಹಿ ಸ್ವಯಂ ಉದ್ಯೋಗದ ಮೂಲಕ ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಜೀವನೋಪಾಯ ಒದಗಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಹಾಗೂ ಮಂಗಳಮುಖಿಯರಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತ ವಾಹನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಸ್ವಾವಲಂಬಿ ಜೀವನ ನಡೆಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಸ್ವಾವಲಂಬನೆ ಜೀವನ ನಡೆಸುವುದು ಉತ್ತಮ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ಫಲಾನುಭವಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಿ.ಜಿ.ಐ, ಬಿ.ಪ್ಯಾಕ್ ಪೀಸ್ ಆಟೋ ಯೂನಿಯನ್ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ವಿಶೇಷ ತರಬೇತಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಚಾಲನಾ ಪರವಾನಗಿ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು, ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಿಕ್ ಆಟೋಗಳನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಾಲನೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಅಗತ್ಯ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಯೋಜನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಧವೆಯರು, ಏಕಪೋಷಕ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಬೆಂಬಲವಿಲ್ಲದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಹಾಗೂ ಮಂಗಳ ಮುಖಿಯರಿಗೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅವರ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಸ್ವಾವಲಂಬನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಗೌರವವನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುವತ್ತ ಗಮನ ಹರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಮಹಿಳಾ ಸಬಲೀಕರಣ, ಪರಿಸರ ಸ್ನೇಹಿ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಾವಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸುವತ್ತ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯ ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಆಟೋ ವಿತರಣಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೀಸ್ ಆಟೋ ರಾಜ್ಯಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ರಘು ನಾರಾಯಣ ಗೌಡ, ಬಿ.ಪ್ಯಾಕ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಪೂಜಾರಿ ಹೆಚ್.ಎಸ್. ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರ ಗಣ್ಯರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy Distributes 10 Free EV Autos to Empower Women
Bengaluru: In a significant initiative aimed at promoting women empowerment and sustainable urban mobility, Karnataka Transport Minister Shri Ramalinga Reddy personally distributed 10 free electric vehicle (EV) autos to women and transgender beneficiaries at the Koramangala office in Bengaluru.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Ramalinga Reddy said that it was a matter of great satisfaction to provide free EV autos from his personal funds to women aspiring to lead self-reliant, dignified, and financially independent lives. He stated that the initiative was launched with the objective of creating sustainable livelihood opportunities through eco-friendly self-employment and enabling women and transgender persons to build independent futures. He also emphasised that financial independence among women is an important step towards social empowerment.
Under the initiative, the selected beneficiaries received specialised training from CGI, B.PAC, and Peace Auto Union. All the beneficiaries possess valid driving licences and have undergone the necessary training to safely and professionally operate electric autos.
The programme has prioritised widows, single mothers, women without family support, and transgender persons, with a focus on strengthening their financial independence and social dignity.
The initiative reflects the Karnataka Government’s commitment towards women empowerment, green mobility, and the creation of sustainable livelihood opportunities for women and marginalised communities.
Peace Auto State President Shri Raghu Narayan Gowda, B.PAC Programme Head Shri Raghavendra Poojari H.S., and other dignitaries were present during the auto distribution programme.
