ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ತೊಂದರೆ ಆಗಬಹುದಾದ “ಜೀರೋ ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್” ಕಾರು ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಲು ಸಿಎಂ ಡಿ ಕೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ದಿನಾಂಕ 07-06-2026 ರಂದು ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ 9.00 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ವಿಧಾನಸೌಧದ ಎದುರಿನ ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ಸ್ಟೇಷನ್ ನಿಂದ ಕನಕಪುರ ರಸ್ತೆ ಕೊನೇ ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ಸ್ಟೇಷನ್ ವರೆಗೆ ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ರೈಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಬೆಳೆಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಸಿಎಂ ಅವರು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಹಾರೋಹಳ್ಳಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕನಕಪುರ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ನಾನಾ ಕಡೆ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲು ಭಾನುವಾರ ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ 10 ಗಂಟೆಯಿಂದ ರಾತ್ರಿ 9.00 ರವರೆಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಣಾ ಪ್ರವಾಸ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಸದಾಶಿವನಗರ ನಿವಾಸದಿಂದ ಕನಕಪುರ ರಸ್ತೆವರೆಗೂ ಜೀರೋ ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ಬಳಸುವುದರಿಂದ ಜನರ ವಾಹನ ಸಂಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ತೊಂದರೆ ಆಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಮನಗಂಡು ಸಿಎಂ ಅವರು ಈ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Metro chosen to spare the public of traffic jams from ‘zero traffic’
Journey from Vidhana Soudha to the last Metro station on Kanakapura Road
Bengaluru, June 7: In a people-friendly move, Chief Minister D K Shivakumar has decided to skip the road travel on Sunday and take metro instead to avoid the inconvenience of traffic jams for the people of Bengaluru.
CM D K Shivakumar will travel by Metro train at 9 am on June 7 from the Vidhana Soudha metro station to the last Metro station on Kanakapura Road. He will travel to Kanakapura from there by road.
The CM is visiting Kanakapura to participate in a gratitude tour to thank the people of his constituency. Several programmes have been organised in Hrohalli and other parts of Kanakapura taluk from 10 am to 9 pm on Sunday.
The CM arrived at this decision after recognising that using ‘zero traffic’ all the way from his Sadashivanagar residence to Kanakapura Road would disrupt the movement of traffic for the public.
