*ಕೆಎಲ್ಎಸ್ ಜಿಐಟಿ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಆಂತರಿಕ ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಹ್ಯಾಕಥಾನ್–2026 ಯಶಸ್ವಿ*
ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ: ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ: ಕೆಎಲ್ಎಸ್ ಗೊಗಟೆ ಇನ್ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಟೆಕ್ನಾಲಜಿ (KLS GIT) ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಆಂತರಿಕ ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಹ್ಯಾಕಥಾನ್ (SIH)–2026 ಅನ್ನು ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 28 ಮತ್ತು 29ರಂದು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಎರಡು ದಿನಗಳ ಹ್ಯಾಕಥಾನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ 28 ತಂಡಗಳ 168 ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ, ನೈಜ ಜೀವನದ ಸವಾಲುಗಳಿಗೆ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಪರಿಹಾರಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸೇವೆ, ಸೈಬರ್ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆ, ಕೃಷಿ, ವಿಪತ್ತು ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ, ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್ ಆಟೊಮೇಷನ್, ಸಾರಿಗೆ, ರೋಬೋಟಿಕ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಡ್ರೋನ್ಗಳು, ಬಾಹ್ಯಾಕಾಶ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ, ಆಡಳಿತ, ಪಾರಂಪರಿಕ ಕಲೆ-ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ನವೀನ ಪರಿಹಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಕೆಎಲ್ಎಸ್ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ ಹಾಗೂ ಬೆಂಬಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಈ ಹ್ಯಾಕಥಾನ್, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವೀನ್ಯತೆ, ಉದ್ಯಮಶೀಲತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಅನುಭವಾಧಾರಿತ ಕಲಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುವ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿತು.
ಕೆಎಲ್ಎಸ್ ಜಿಐಟಿ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಡಾ. ವಿಜಯ ಎ. ಅಥಾವಲೆ ಅವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು. ಐಆರ್ಡಿಸಿ ಡೀನ್ ಡಾ. ರುದ್ರೇಶ್ ಮಗದುಮ್ ಅವರು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ನಾವೀನ್ಯತಾ ಪರಿಸರವನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಸಿಎಸ್ಇ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಡಾ. ಆರ್.ಎಸ್. ಪಾಟೀಲ ಅವರು ವಿವಿಧ ತಂಡಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿರಂತರ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಹ್ಯಾಕಥಾನ್ನ ಸಮನ್ವಯವನ್ನು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ SIH–2026 ಎಸ್ಪಿಒಸಿ ಡಾ. ಶಾರದಾ ಕೋರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಫ್ಯಾಕಲ್ಟಿ ಕೋಆರ್ಡಿನೇಟರ್ ಪ್ರೊ. ಪವನ್ ಕೊರ್ಲಹಳ್ಳಿ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದರು. ಬೋಧಕ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ, ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶಕರು, ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರು ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಯಮ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ತಜ್ಞರಾದ ನೀರಜ್ ವರ್ನೇಕರ್, ಅವಿನಾಶ್ ಪೌಸ್ಕರ್, ದರ್ಶನ್ ಮುತಾಲಿಕ್ದೇಸಾಯಿ, ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಪಾಟೀಲ, ಕೌಶಲ್ ಕೇದಾರಿ, ಶ್ರೀನಿಕೇತ್ ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಗಣೇಶ್ ಅವರು ಡೊಮೇನ್ ತಜ್ಞರಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯಮ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಅನುಭವ, ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಹಾಗೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ರೂಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಅಗತ್ಯವಾದ ಸಲಹೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಹ್ಯಾಕಥಾನ್ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ನೈಜ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸುವುದರಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿದು, ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ನವೀನ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಪರಿಹಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸುವವರೆಗೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಇದರಿಂದ ಅವರ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ತಂಡದ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ, ಸೃಜನಶೀಲತೆ, ನಾಯಕತ್ವ ಹಾಗೂ ಉದ್ಯಮ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಾದ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾದವು.
ಆಂತರಿಕ SIH–2026ರ ಯಶಸ್ವಿ ಆಯೋಜನೆಯು ಕೆಎಲ್ಎಸ್ ಗೊಗಟೆ ಇನ್ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಟೆಕ್ನಾಲಜಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವೀನ್ಯತೆಯ ಬಲವಾದ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಾಜದ ನೈಜ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಪರಿಹಾರಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವುಳ್ಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಮಹತ್ವದ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
KLS GIT Successfully Hosts Internal Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2026
Belagavi: KLS Gogte Institute of Technology (KLS GIT), Belagavi, successfully conducted the Internal Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2026 on August 28 and 29. The two-day event brought together 168 students forming 28 teams, providing them with a platform to develop innovative, technology-driven solutions to real-world problems.
The hackathon witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across diverse domains, including Healthcare, Cybersecurity, Agriculture, Disaster Management, Education, Smart Automation, Transportation, Robotics and Drones, Space Technology, Governance, Heritage and Culture, among others.
The event was organised with the encouragement and support of the KLS Management, reaffirming the institute’s commitment to promoting innovation, entrepreneurship and experiential learning among students.
Dr. Vijay A. Athavale, Principal, KLS GIT, provided visionary leadership and encouraged the participating students. Dr. Rudresh Magadum, Dean, IRDC, offered guidance towards further strengthening the institute’s innovation ecosystem. Dr. R. S. Patil, HoD, Computer Science and Engineering, supported and motivated the teams throughout the hackathon.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Sharada Kori, Institute SPOC, SIH 2026, and Prof. Pavan Korlahalli, Faculty Coordinator, with the active support of faculty members, mentors, volunteers and student coordinators.
Industry experts Mr. Niraj Vernekar, Mr. Avinash Pauskar, Mr. Darshan Mutalikdesai, Mr. Raghvendra Patil, Mr. Koushal Kedari, Mr. Shriniket Katti and Mr. Ganesh served as domain experts. They provided valuable industry insights, technical guidance and constructive feedback, helping the participating teams refine and strengthen their proposed solutions.
The hackathon enabled students to move beyond theoretical learning by engaging in the complete innovation process—from identifying real-world challenges to developing practical and innovative technology solutions. The experience helped enhance their technical skills, creativity, teamwork, leadership abilities and industry readiness.
The successful completion of Internal SIH 2026 marks another significant milestone in KLS Gogte Institute of Technology’s efforts to foster a strong culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, while empowering students to develop technology solutions capable of creating meaningful real-world impact.
