Pragativahini News, Belagavi : Amid Corona Virus cases in the district were growing rapidly in the district in the recent days landing the district administration and medical staff on “hot seat” , here is a sign of relief to people as one among the 42 positives recovered completely has got discharged from the hospital on Saturday evening.
The person came out from the deadly clutches of the virus C-19 is said to be the first person from the district to be affected and incidentally is the first to be cured and discharged from the hospital.
The man is said to be of 70 year is from Belagundi village in Belagavi taluk and was affected when attended the religious convention at Nizamuddin at Delhi. Two others – each from Camp in Belagavi and Hirebagewadi village in Belagavi taluk- who also attended the same convention and returned with the former detected positives on April 1.
As there were the symptoms of Corona Virus he was admitted to the district hospital and his test reports were found positive on April 3, since than he was housed at Isolation ward at the hospital.
Though the trio found positive at a time, the Belagundi person known as the first person as his name was said to be written in No 1 serial in the registration book.
