Vinayak Patil, Superintendent of Police, Uttara Kannada shifted a person to hospital in his official car and saved his life. The incident took place on Monday.
Chandrakant Bhajantri, 48, fell down from his bike opposite of Patrika Bhavan in Karwar when he was trying to cross the NH 66 on his bike.
The NH 66 expansion work is on in the area. Chandrakant suffered injuries and begging from help. Some journalists who were in the Patrika Bhavan called the ambulance. Vinayak Patil who was passing from the area stopped his car and immediately shifted Chandrakant to the hospital in his car. Condition of the Chandrakant is stable, it is said.
