Roopali Naik, Karwar MLA has filed complaint against two JDS workers allegedly issuing her life threat on Election Day near Karwar port in Baithkol area.
Guruprasad Naik, Personal Assistant of Roopali Naik has filed the complaint at Karwar town police station.
According to the complainant on Election Day (April 23) around 3.30 pm Roopali was heading towards Ankola from Karwar. Her car was blocked by two JDS workers Kishan Kuvalekar and Darshan Majalikar at Baithkol and allegedly tried to attack her. They abused her by using filthy words. It is alleged in the complaint Roopali had already filed complainant with police as she is being stalked by some unknown persons and now at the incident has happened at the time of the election.
The complainant has stated that Roopali Naik was busy in election related activities and could not file complaint with the police.
An FIR jhas been registered in this regard.
