Pragativahini News, Bengaluru : One of the TV news channel cameraman at Bengaluru detected positive of Corona Virus, for which 20 staff members of the channel and 17 other crew of other news channels have been Quarantined.
The cameraman found infected at the COVID-19 test camp which specially arranged for the media persons with the special instruction of CM Yeddyurappa.
The incident created havoc among the media as the health department has started quarantining those in touch with the infected cameraman. The cameraman might have approached many people for bites would also be quarantined.
More of all, though the camera crew of the news channel wear protective face masks the chances of spreading the virus is high as the cameramen move for assignment in group. The family members of the infected cameraman would also be quarantined.
It was the first case in the state where a person attached to media affected with the virus in the state. It may be recalled that as many as 55 media persons were infected to the virus in Mumbai.
