Bus Running Between Belagavi-Bengaluru Caught Afire at Chitradurga
The bus was completely burnt in the incident
prsgstivahini News, Chitradurga : The Air Conditioned KSRTC bus with 30 boarders excluding 2 drivers and a conductor, caught afire at Giddobanahalli near Guyilalu Toll Plaza on Pune-Bengaluru National Highway in Chitradurga district at around 7am on Tuesday.
The bus was completely burnt in the incident as there was no fire fighter force station nearby. Since it was morning and all the passengers had to woke up no harm to the lives occurred. However, the luggage kept in the luggage compartment below the passenger seats said to be burnt. Technical reasons are suspected behind the cause for the incident.
