ಒಕ್ಕೂಟ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡೋಣ
ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ: ಭಾರತ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಸಾಧಿಸಬೇಕಾದರೆ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಸಾಧಿಸಬೇಕು. ನಾವು ಒಕ್ಕೂಟ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡೋಣ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ್ಕೆ ನೆರವು ನೀಡುವಾಗ ಹೃದಯ ವೈಶಾಲ್ಯತೆಯಿಂದ ನೆರವು ನೀಡಿ” ಎಂದು ಸಿಎಂ ಡಿ ಕೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ವಿದ್ಯಾಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವೇಕ ಸ್ಮಾರಕ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಶನಿವಾರ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
“ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ತ್ಯಾಗ ನಮಗೆ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿಯಾಗಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಅವರ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನಾವು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಯುವ ಕ್ರಾಂತಿಯ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಘಳಿಗೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ನೀವು ಸೋತಾಗ ಧೈರ್ಯವಾಗಿರಿ, ನೀವು ಗೆದ್ದಾಗ ಹೃದಯ ವೈಶಾಲ್ಯತೆ ಹೊಂದಿರಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದ ಅವರು ಸಂದೇಶ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
“ಇಡೀ ವಿಶ್ವ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದತ್ತ ತಿರುಗಿ ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇಡೀ ಭಾರತವನ್ನು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಮೂಲಕ ನೋಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಅಟಲ್ ಬಿಹಾರಿ ವಾಜಪೇಯಿ ಅವರು ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ ಶಂಕುಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಗಾಗಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ, ಇಷ್ಟು ದಿನ ವಿಶ್ವದ ನಾಯಕರು ಮೊದಲು ದೆಹಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ನಂತರ ಬೇರೆ ನಗರಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ಕಾಲ ಬದಲಾಗಿದೆ, ವಿಶ್ವದ ನಾಯಕರು ಮೊದಲು ದೆಹಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ನಂತರ ದೇಶದ ಬೇರೆ ನಗರಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರು. ಆಗ ಇದೇ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಓದಿದ್ದ ಎಸ್ ಎಂ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಅವರು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದರು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಒಕ್ಕೂಟ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡೋಣ
“ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹವಾಮಾನ, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಶಕ್ತಿ. ಒಕ್ಕೂಟ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ನಿಲ್ಲುತ್ತದೆ. ನಾವು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪ ಭೂಮಿ
“ಇದು ಸಂಕಲ್ಪ ಭೂಮಿ. ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರು ಮೈಸೂರಿನಿಂದ ವಿದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಜೇಮ್ ಷೆಡ್ ಜೀ ಟಾಟಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಮಾತು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರು. ಇದು ಬಡ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಆರಂಭವಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಟಾಟಾ ಅವರು ಮಹಾರಾಜರಿಗೆ ಈ ವಿಚಾರ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಮಹಾರಾಜರು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ 300 ಎಕರೆ ಜಾಗ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಇಂಡಿಯನ್ ಇನ್ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಸೈನ್ಸ್ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಈ ದೇಶದ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಮೈಸೂರು ಮಹಾರಾಜರ ಕೊಡುಗೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಆಲೋಚನೆ
“ಇದು ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ. ಯುವಶಕ್ತಿ, ಯುವ ಆಲೋಚನೆ, ಯುವ ಚಿಂತನೆ. ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಬದುಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದ್ದೆ. ಈ ಹೊಸ ಚಿಂತನೆ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯ ಆರಂಭ, ಯುವಕರ ಕನಸು, ದೇಶದ ಕನಸು. ನಾವು ಇಬ್ಬರು ಯುವಕರನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ವಿದ್ಯಾಶಾಲೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಯುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನಮನಗಳು” ಎಂದರು.
“ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಕೂಡ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಯುವ ಯುಗ, ನವ ಯುಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಘೋಷಣೆ. ನಾವು ಟೀಮ್ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ವಾರ್ಡ್ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಯುವಕರು ಒಂದಾಗಬೇಕು, ಅವರ ಕಲೆ, ಕ್ರೀಡೆ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ ನೀಡಲು ಯುವಕರ ಸಂಘ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲು ಮುಂದಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ” ಎಂದರು.
“ಹಳ್ಳಿ ಹಾಗೂ ನಗರ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಯುವಕರನ್ನು ಸದುಪಯೋಗಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಆಮೂಲಕ ಯುವಕರ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ದೈಹಿಕ ಶಕ್ತಿ ವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಮೈಸೂರು ಇತಿಹಾಸ, ವಿಶ್ವದ ಇತಿಹಾಸ. ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದ ಅವರು 1893ರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೈಸೂರಿನಿಂದ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಹಾಕಿ, ಮಹಾರಾಜರ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ವಿದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರ, ಸಹೋದರಿಯರೇ ಎಂದು ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿ ವಿಶ್ವದ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆದಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಹಕಾರ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಮಹಾರಾಜರಿಗೆ ನಮನಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿದರು.
“ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕೇಂದ್ರವನ್ನು ಅನಾವರಣ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದು ದೇಶದ ಆಸ್ತಿ. ದೇಶದ ಯುವಕರನ್ನು ಸರಿಯಾದ ಹಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯಲು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ರೂಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪುರಂದರ ದಾಸರ ಪದಗಳು ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಇದು ಭಾಗ್ಯ ಇದು ಭಾಗ್ಯ, ಇದು ಭಾಗ್ಯವಯ್ಯಾ, ಪದುಭನಾಭನ ಪಾದ ಭಜನೆ ಪರಮ ಸುಖವಯ್ಯಾ ಎಂದು ದಾಸರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿರುವುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಭಾಗ್ಯ” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
“Support Karnataka with an open heart,” CM appeals to PM
“Let us work together in a federal setup”
Mysore: “For India to progress, it must progress along with Karnataka. Let us work together within our federal structure. I appeal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to support Karnataka with an open heart,” said Chief Minister DK Shivakumar.
He was speaking at the inauguration of the Vivekanand Smarak at Ramakrishna Vidyashala in Mysuru on Saturday.
“Swami Vivekananda’s sacrifice should inspire us, and we must channel his energy. This moment marks a historic shift for youth empowerment. Vivekananda taught us to remain courageous in failure and gracious in victory,” Shivakumar said.
He added, “The entire world is looking toward Karnataka. Today, India is often seen through the lens of Karnataka and Bengaluru. When former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee laid the foundation stone for Kempegowda International Airport, he noted how world leaders used to visit Delhi first before heading elsewhere—but now, Karnataka has become a central stop. S.M. Krishna, an alumnus of this very institution, was Chief Minister at the time.”
Working Together in a Federal System
“Our strength lies in our climate, culture, and people. As part of a federal setup, our state stands with you, and we must work together,” Shivakumar urged.
Karnataka, a Land of Resolve
“This is a land of deep commitment. While traveling abroad from Mysuru, Vivekananda suggested to Jamsetji Tata that a developing nation like ours needed a premier science institution. Tata shared this vision with the Maharaja of Mysuru, who donated 300 acres of land in Bengaluru—giving birth to the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). That is the historic contribution of the Mysore Royal Family to Indian science,” he highlighted.
Guided by Vivekananda’s Vision
“This is a historic moment driven by youth power and fresh thinking. I have personally tried to live by these ideals. We are focusing heavily on the potential of our youth.
Our government shares Swami Vivekananda’s vision. ‘Youth Era, New Era’ ( Yuva Yuga Nava Yuga )is our guiding slogan, and we want to function as ‘Team Karnataka.’ We are establishing youth associations at the panchayat and ward levels to encourage sports, arts, and cultural talents.
We need to engage young people in both rural and urban areas to help build their physical and mental strength. Mysuru’s history is part of global history. It was from Mysuru, supported by the Maharaja in 1893, that Vivekananda traveled abroad and captivated the world with his iconic speech starting with ‘Brothers and Sisters of America.’ I offer my deepest respects to the Maharaja for backing him.”
Concluding his address, Shivakumar remarked, “The unveiling of the Vivekananda Cultural Center gives the nation a valuable asset that will guide young people on the right path. I congratulate the institution on behalf of the state. Participating in this event truly feels like a privilege.”
