ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ: “ವಿಜಯ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ರಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಬಹುಮತ ಸಾಬೀತುಪಡಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ತಡೆಯಲು ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನ ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರಿಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರವಿಲ್ಲ. ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರ ನಡೆ ಸರಿಯಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಡಿಸಿಎಂ ಡಿ.ಕೆ. ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ವಿಧಾನಸೌಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಗುರುವಾರ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಟಿವಿಕೆ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ತಮಿಳುನಾಡು ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರು ಬಹುಮತ ಸಾಬೀತಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡದೇ ಇರುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, “ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ರಚನೆಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಬೇಕು. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಅವರಿಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರು ಅನುಮತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು. ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸ್ಥಾನ ಗಳಿಸಿದ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳಿಗೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ರಚಿಸಲು ಈ ಹಿಂದೆಯೂ ಅನುಮತಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದ ನಾರಾಯಣನ್, ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ಕಲಾಂ ಅವರೂ ಈ ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು. ವಾಜಪೇಯಿ ಅವರಿಗೂ ಸಹ ಇದೇ ರೀತಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ರಚಿಸಲು ಅನುಮತಿ ನೀಡಿ ಸದನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹುಮತ ಸಾಬೀತಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ಟಿವಿಕೆಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡದಿರುವುದು ತಪ್ಪು” ಎಂದರು.
“ಮೊದಲು ಬಹುಮತ ಸಾಬೀತಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಬೇಕು. ಒಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಜನರ ಭಾವನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೆಲೆ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು. ಇದು ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ. ಒಂದು ಮತದಿಂದ ಬಹುಮತ ಬರಬಹುದು ಅಥವಾ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು. ವಾಜಪೇಯಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇದೇ ರೀತಿ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲವೇ? ಒಂದೊಮ್ಮೆ ಬಹುಮತ ಸಾಬೀತು ಆಗದೇ ಹೋದರೆ ಮುಂದಿನ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ನೋಡಬಹುದು” ಎಂದರು.
ಹೊಸ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ ಕಚೇರಿ; ಸ್ಥಳ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಂತರ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಉತ್ತರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆಯ ಹೊಸ ಕಚೇರಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಮೂರು- ನಾಲ್ಕು ಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವನೆಯಿದೆ. ಸ್ಥಳ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಇದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು, ಶಾಸಕರು ತಮ್ಮದೇ ಆದ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸ್ಥಳ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಂತರ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು.
ಜಿಕೆವಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದೇ ಎಂದಾಗ, “ಇಲ್ಲ, ಸದ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆ ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದರು.
ಸತೀಶ್ ಜಾರಕಿಹೊಳಿ, ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಳ್ಕರ್ ಅವರು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, “ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಒಂದಷ್ಟು ನೀರಾವರಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಸಲು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು”ಎಂದರು.
Governor’s move to block TVK from forming government is wrong: DCM D K Shivakumar
Bengaluru, May 7: Stating that the Governor doesn’t have any power to stop TVK from forming a government and proving the majority on the floor of the House, Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar today said Tamil Nadu Governor’s action was wrong.
Speaking to reporters at Vidhana Soudha, he said, “The Governor must allow government formation. In Karnataka, the Governor had permitted Yediyurappa to do so. Parties that won more seats have previously been allowed to form governments. Presidents Narayanan and Abdul Kalam also acted in this manner. Vajpayee too was similarly permitted to form a government and prove his majority on the floor of the house. But denying that opportunity to TVK now is wrong.” He was replying to questions on Tamil Nadu Governor denying TVK an opportunity to prove its majority.
“First, the opportunity to prove majority must be given. The sentiments of a state’s people must be respected. This is democracy. A majority can be won or lost by a single vote — did that not happen with Vajpayee? If the majority is not proven, the next option can be explored.”
New Municipal Office; Decision after site inspection
Regarding the construction of a new office for the Bengaluru North Corporation, proposals have been put forward for three to four locations. A decision will be made after inspecting the sites. Ministers and MLAs have shared their own opinions on the matter, and a final decision will be taken after the site review.
When asked whether construction would take place at GKVK, he replied: “No, that idea is not on the table for now. We will look into it.”
When asked about the meeting with Satish Jarkiholi and Lakshmi Hebbalkar, he said: “They had come to discuss certain irrigation projects in Belagavi district.”
