A fourteen feet long and 15 kg weighing King cobra was caught in Devanahalli village in Sirsi taluk of Uttara Kannada district.
The king cobra was spotted at the compound of Badiya Marathi Kumbarakuli on Thursday.
Later it was caught with the help of Manohar Nayar a snake friendly person and later it was released in the nearby forest. This King Cobra was spotted about five days ago in the village and the villagers were living under the fear. Forest officials V T Naik and Hanumanth Shakunavalli helped Manohar to catch the King Cobra
