ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು : ಸಮಾಜ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆಗೆ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಮಹನೀಯರ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ನಾಮಕರಣ ಮಾಡುವ ಕೆಎಲ್ಇ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ರಾಜಾಜಿನಗರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ “ಕೆಎಲ್ಇ ಸೊಸೈಟಿಯ ಕೆ.ಎಫ್. ಪಾಟೀಲ ಶಾಲೆ” ಎಂದು ನಾಮಕರಣ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಈ ನಾಮಕರಣ ಸಮಾರಂಭವು ಭಾನುವಾರ, ಮೇ 10, 2026ರಂದು ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಸಮಾಜಸೇವೆ, ಮೌಲ್ಯಾಧಾರಿತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನವನ್ನೇ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದ ದಾನಶೂರ ಹಾಗೂ ನಾಯಕ ಕೆ.ಎಫ್. ಪಾಟೀಲ ಅವರ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಎಲ್ಇ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರು, ವಿವಿಧ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರು, ಹಾಗೂ 350ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು, ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಎಲ್ಇ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಅಮಿತ್ ಪಿ. ಕೋರೆ ಅವರು ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಉಪಸಭಾಪತಿ ರುದ್ರಪ್ಪ ಎಂ. ಲಮಾಣಿ ಅವರು ಕೆ.ಎಫ್. ಪಾಟೀಲರ ದಾನಶೀಲತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರೇರಣಾದಾಯಕ ನಾಯಕತ್ವದ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಕಾಹೇರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕೆಎಲ್ಇ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಕುಲಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳಾದ ಡಾ. ಪ್ರಭಾಕರ ಬಿ. ಕೋರೆ ಅವರು ಬಡವರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ ಪಾಟೀಲರ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿದರು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾದ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವ ಪ್ರಹ್ಲಾದ ಜೋಶಿ ಅವರು ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೈತಿಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಅರುಣರಾಜೆ ಪಾಟೀಲ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯಾಧಾರಿತ ಹಾಗೂ ಪರಿಸರ ಸ್ನೇಹಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಕನಸಿನ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಸಮಾರಂಭದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೀಯ ಭಾಷಣವನ್ನು ಮಹಾಂತೇಶ್ ಎಸ್. ಕೌಜಲಗಿ ಅವರು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ “ಕರ್ಮಯೋಗಿ ಕೆ.ಎಫ್. ಪಾಟೀಲ” ಪುಸ್ತಕವನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅವರ ಜೀವನ ಸಾಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸುವ ವಿಶೇಷ ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವೂ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
Continuing the KLE tradition of naming institutions after individuals who have been instrumental in societal transformation, the school in Rajajinagar, Bengaluru, has been renamed **KLE Society’s K.F. Patil School**.
The ceremony, held on Sunday, May 10, 2026, honored the legacy of Shri K.F. Patil, a philanthropist and leader who dedicated his life to selfless service and value-based education. The event was attended by Members of the Board of Management of KLE Society, Heads of Institutions, and over 350 faculty members, staff, and students.
During the event, Shri Amit P. Kore, Chairman of KLE Society, delivered the welcome address, while Shri Rudrappa M. Lamani, Honourable Deputy Speaker, spoke about Patil’s philanthropy and inspiring leadership. Dr. Prabhakar B. Kore, Chancellor of KAHER and KLE Technological University, highlighted Patil’s contributions to the upliftment of the poor, and Chief Guest Shri Prahlad Joshi, Honourable Minister, emphasized the importance of instilling morals in children. Smt. Arunaraje Patil shared her father’s vision for education rooted in values and environmental concern, and the ceremony concluded with presidential remarks by Shri Mahantesh S. Koujalgi.
The occasion also featured the launch of the book *Karmayogi K.F. Patil* and a film screening celebrating his life.
