Will PM Mod’s programme be shifted to Ghataprabha from Chikkiodi?

Pragativahini News, Ghataprabha
Public meeting of PM Narendra Modi which is scheduled at Chikkodi on April 18 would be shifted to Ghataprabha, according to the reliable sources.
In this context Balachandra Jarakiholi, Arabhavi MLA, Suresh Angadi MP and BJP leader Eranna Kadadi visited Ghataprabha and inspected the venue of the meet.
Later they held discussion with the management of Ghataprabha Arogyadhama in this regard. Talks were also held with Dr. Ghanashyam who is the Chief Medical Officer and Trustee of the Management.
But the BJP leaders were informed that the Karnataka Arogyadhama is a non-political organisation and the permission cannot not be given. The final decision will be taken in the meeting of the administrative body, the BJP leaders were informed. Speaking to the media Balachandra Jarakiholi said that Ghataprabha is closer to eight assembly segments of Belagavi and Chikkodi. Modi has not yet visited Gokak taluk so the efforts are being made to shift the venue of the meeting to Gokak. The KHI administration has informed that their decision will be conveyed tomorrow, Jarakiholi said.
Suresh Angadi said that some of the promises made during the last elections have not been fulfilled. This time we will work together and solve the problems he said. We are looking for some more places for Modi’s programme. KHI is suitable among them. If the administration of KHI agrees to provide the venue then the April 18 programme of Modi will be shifted to Ghataprabha he said.
BJP leaders Suresh Patil, Suresh Kadadavar, Virupakshi Eligar and others were present.
