Did fear of disqualification forced Prajwal to announce his resignation decision?

Pragativahini News, Bengaluru
Whether the decision of Prawjal Revanna newly elected MP from Hasan Lok Sabha constituency to resign from the MP seat has anything to do with his probable disqualification from the MP post? There is discussion on social media why Prajwal is resigning very next day of his election.
According to some people the sword of disqualification is hanging on the head of Prajwal as there were lot of discrepancies in the affidavit he had submitted to the Election Commission while filing his nomination papers. He had reportedly concealed many of his assets in the affidavit. His rivals have already raised objection to this and have petitioned to EC to disqualify Prajwal. If disqualified he cannot contest any election for next 6 years.
To escape this Prajwal has decided to pre-empt the move and submit the resignation citing the reason that his grandfather and former Prime Minister Devegowda would be allowed to contest from Hasan, it is said. Devegowda who was repressing Hasan had left his seat to Prajwal and had contested from Tumkur Lok Sabha constituency where he lost to Basavaraju of BJP.
But the decision of Prajwal to vacate the seat for his grandfather has irked the people. He has come under the criticism for this and Netizens have trolled him by saying that the MP seat is not the BMTC bus seat to vacate for Grandfather. Elections are held by using the tax payer’s money and that is not your (Prajwal’s) father’s money, some Netizens said.
