The cheating case against Belagavi Zilla Panchayat president Asha Aihole and her husband Prashant Aihole is in progress, according to SP Sudheer Reddy.
SP said that Prashant who was arrested by the police and later released on the bail is cooperating with the police during the investigation.
A case has been registered against Asha and Prashant in Athani police station for allegedly duping the people who had deposited the money in the cooperative bank and also they had allegedly duped the people by offering the sites at low price.
