Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi and All India Council for Technical Education jointly organized Three Day Faculty Development on Student Induction programme during 24th to 26th June 2019.
Sanjeev Chopra, Resource person, AICTE FDP Programmes, New Delhi was the Chief Guest and inaugurated the programme today at “Jnana Sangama”, Belagavi.
Dr. Karisiddappa Vice Chancellor of VTU presided over the function.
In his address Sanjeev Chopra said that “human values are most important in enhancing the quality of education. Hence, faculty members have to inculcate the human values to fulfill the expectations of the students by providing quality education”.
In his presidential address Dr. Karisiddappa said that “faculty members have to play important role in the nation building process. Today teachers have to develop the teaching skills and ability to counsel the students”.
Dr. Satish Annigeri, Registrar (Evaluation) and Registrar (I/C) of VTU graced the occasion. Dr. A. V. Shivapur, Regional Director, VTU Regional Center, Belagavi welcomed. Dr. Basavaraj Kudchimath proposed vote of thanks. Dr. Chikkanna, Professor and AICTE FDP Co-ordinator for VTU briefed about the programme.
Over 120 Faculties members from Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala participated in the function.
