ಹೊರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕೇರಳಿಗರು ಬಂದು ಮತದಾನ ಚಲಾಯಿಸಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿ
ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ: “ಯುಡಿಎಫ್ ಮೈತ್ರಿಕೂಟದಿಂದ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರ ಮುಕ್ತ, ಸ್ವಚ್ಛ, ಪಾರದರ್ಶಕ ಆಡಳಿತ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಹೊಣೆಗಾರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಲಿದ್ದು, ಕೇರಳಂ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಪೂರಕವಾಗಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಬದಲಿಸಿ, ಬಂಡವಾಳ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ತಂದು, ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಉತ್ತಮ ಕೇರಳಂ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಮಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಿ” ಎಂದು ಡಿಸಿಎಂ ಡಿ.ಕೆ.ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ತಿರುವನಂತಪುರದ ಕೇರಳ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸಮಿತಿ ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಸೋಮವಾರ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗೋಷ್ಠಿ ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ಬಿಜೆಪಿ- ಎಲ್ ಡಿಎಫ್ ನಡುವೆ ಒಳಒಪ್ಪಂದ:
“ಇದು ದೇವರ ನಾಡಾಗಿದ್ದು, ತನ್ನದೇ ಆದ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಶಬರಿಮಲೆ ಅಯ್ಯಪ್ಪ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಕಳವು ಪ್ರಕರಣ ಏನಾಯ್ತು? ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಒಂದು ನಿಗಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಕೋಟಿ ಹಣವನ್ನು ವರ್ಗಾವಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ತನಿಖಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ದಾಳಿ ಮಾಡಿದವು. ಈ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ರಚಿಸಿದ ವಿಶೇಷ ತನಿಖಾ ತಂಡ 95% ಹಣವನ್ನು ವಸೂಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದರೂ ಸಿಬಿಐ, ಇಡಿ ಮಧ್ಯ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಮಾಡಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಚಿವರನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿತು. ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಚಿವರ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ ಕೊಡಿಸಿದರೂ ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಸ್ತಕ್ಷೇಪ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಆದರೆ ಶಬರಿಮಲೆ ಚಿನ್ನ ಕಳವು ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಖಂಡನೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೂ ಸಿಬಿಐ ಈ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಧ್ಯಪ್ರವೇಶ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ ಯಾಕೆ? ಈ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ಯಾಂಶ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದು ನ್ಯಾಯ ಒದಗಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ? ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಆರೋಪಪಟ್ಟಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಕೇರಳಂ ಜನತೆ ಇದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇಡೀ ದೇಶದ ವಿವಿಧ ಭಾಗದ ಜನರು ಬಹಳ ನಂಬಿಕೆ, ಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಶಬರಿಮಲೆ ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪಕ್ಷ ಇದ್ದರೂ ದೇವಾಲಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಭಕ್ತರ ಭಾವನೆ ಗೌರವಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ದೇವರ ಚಿನ್ನವನ್ನೇ ಕದ್ದು ಹಗರಣ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಒಂದೇ ಒಂದು ಮಾತು ಆಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಎಲ್ ಡಿಎಫ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರಗಳ ನಡುವಣ ಒಳಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಏನು? ಈ ವಿಚಾರವಾಗಿ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ನಾಯಕರಿಗಿಂತ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಕೇರಳಂನ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಉತ್ತರಿಸಬೇಕು. ನಾನು ಕೂಡ ಶಬರಿಮಲೆ ಅಯ್ಯಪ್ಪ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮೂರ್ನಾಲ್ಕು ಬಾರಿ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು, ಈಗಲೂ ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಅಯ್ಯಪ್ಪ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನನಗೂ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇದೆ” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
“ಕೇರಳಿಗರು ಪ್ರಜ್ಞಾವಂತರು, ವಿದ್ಯಾವಂತರು, ನಂಬಿಕಸ್ಥರು, ಶ್ರಮಜೀವಿಗಳು. ಅವರು ಹೊರ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದುಡಿದರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಊರಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಹಣ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇಷ್ಟಾದರೂ ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಈ ವಿಚಾರವಾಗಿ ನೀತಿ ರೂಪಿಸಲು ವಿಫಲವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಭಾಗದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ಬಂಡವಾಳ ತಂದು, ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಜಿಡಿಪಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡದಿದ್ದ ಮೇಲೆ ನೀವು ಯಾವ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿರಬೇಕು? ಎಲ್ ಡಿಎಫ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ದಾಳಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ, ನೀವು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಜತೆ ಉತ್ತಮ ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ, ತೆಲಂಗಾಣ, ತಮಿಳುನಾಡು ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರೆ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳ ಆಡಳಿತದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಸಣ್ಣ ಪ್ರಕರಣ, ಆರೋಪ ಬಂದರೂ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಎಫ್ಐಆರ್ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿ ತನಿಖಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ದಾಳಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇಡಿ, ಸಿಬಿಐ, ಐಟಿ ಮಧ್ಯಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದರೂ ಯಾವುದೇ ತನಿಖೆ, ಹಸ್ತಕ್ಷೇಪವಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಹರಿಹಾಯ್ದರು.
ಸಿಎಂ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಇಲ್ಲ:
“ನಾನು ಮೊನ್ನೆ ಕಣ್ಣೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಈ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಜನರು, ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿದೆ. ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಸುದೀರ್ಘವಾಗಿ ಆಡಳಿತ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದು, ಅವರು ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಕೆಲಸಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂಡವಾಳ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದೆಯೇ, ನಿರುದ್ಯೋಗ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಬಗೆಹರಿದಿದೆಯೇ? ಕರಾವಳಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆಯೇ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದೆ. ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಈ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನಾದರೂ ಅಬಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಗುರುತು ಮೂಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರಾ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದೆ. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಜನ ಏನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರು. ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಎಂದರೆ ಅದರದೇ ಆದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು ಕಾಣಸಿಗುತ್ತವೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಜನರ ಮಾತು ಕೇಳಿದ ಬಳಿಕ, ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಮಾಡದವರು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವೇ ಎಂದು ಅರಿವಾಯಿತು. ಕಳೆದ 10 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ ಡಿಎಫ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಅಧಿಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ವಿಚಾರವಾಗಿ ಈ ಎಲ್ ಡಿಎಫ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಕೇರಳಂ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಏನು ನೀಡಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಿರುದ್ಯೋಗ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ 25 ಲಕ್ಷ ಯುವಕರು ಕೆಲಸ ಹುಡುಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಈ ರಾಜ್ಯದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸೌದಿ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಮುಂಬೈ, ದೆಹಲಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಬೇರೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ದೇಶಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ” ಎಂದರು.
ಕೇರಳಂನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಡವಾಳ ಹೂಡಿಗೆಕೆ ಅವಕಾಶವಿಲ್ಲ
“ಕೇರಳಂ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದಿರುವ ಬಂಡವಾಳ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಬೇಕು. ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಯುವಕರು ಬೇರೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ದೇಶಗಳಿಗೆ ಓದಲು ಹೋದರೂ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ನಾಡು, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಲು ಬಯಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇವಲ ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಗರೀಕರು ಮಾತ್ರ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವವರು ಮತ್ತೆ ತಮ್ಮ ನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಯಾಕೆ? ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ನೀತಿಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿದ್ದ. ನಾನು ಅನೇಕ ಬಂಡವಾಳ ಹೂಡಿಕದಾರರ ಜತೆ ಚರ್ಚೆ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಕೇರಳಂ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀತಿಗಳು ಉದ್ಯಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಪೂರಕವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮುಕ್ತವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳು ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ದೇಶದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳು ಬಂಡವಾಳ ಹೂಡಿಕೆದಾರರನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಆದರೆ ಕೇರಳಂ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದು ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ನೈಸರ್ಗಿಕ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ, ಮಾನವ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಉದ್ಯಮಗಳ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ 26 ಲಕ್ಷ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರ್ ಗಳ ಪೈಕಿ 20% ಜನ ಕೇರಳಿಗರು. ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ, ಮೆಡಿಕಲ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇರಳಿಗರು ಯಶಸ್ಸು ಸಾಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಕೇರಳಂ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ಸಿನ ಹಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸಲು ವಿಫಲವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ” ಎಂದು ಟೀಕಿಸಿದರು.
ಹೊರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕೇರಳಿಗರು ಬಂದು ಮತದಾನ ಚಲಾಯಿಸಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿ
“10 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಈ ರಾಜ್ಯ ನರಳಾಡಿದ್ದು ಸಾಕು. ಬೇರೆ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಲಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಕೇರಳಂ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸಾಲದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೂ ಯಾವುದೇ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಬೆಲೆ ಏರಿಕೆ, ನಿರುದ್ಯೋಗ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳು ಉತ್ತುಂಗ ತಲುಪಿವೆ. ನಾವು ಯುಎಇಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕೇರಳಿಗರ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದ್ದು, 90% ಜನ ಅಧಿಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ಬಯಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೇರಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಮತದಾನ ಮಾಡಲು ಬಯಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರವಾಗಲಿ, ಕೇರಳಂ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರವಾಗಲಿ ಇವರು ಬಂದು ಮತದಾನ ಮಾಡಲು ಅಗತ್ಯ ಸಹಕಾರ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದೆಯೇ? ಮತದಾನ ಅವರ ಹಕ್ಕು, ಪ್ರಜಾಸತಾತ್ಮಕ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಹಕ್ಕು ಚಲಾಯಿಸಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಬೇಕು. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮತದಾನ ಮಾಡಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡದಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀವು ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವ ಸಂದೇಶ ರವಾನಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರಿ? ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳು ತಮ್ಮದೇ ಆದ ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತ ಹೊಂದಿರುತ್ತವೆ. ಆದರೆ ಎಲ್ ಡಿಎಫ್ ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತ ಬದಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಜತೆ ಸ್ನೇಹ ಬೆಳೆಸುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ತನಿಖೆ ಮಾಡುವುದಿರಲಿ, ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಜನರ ಹಿತಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಾಗುವಂತಿರಬೇಕೇ ಹೊರತು, ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಹೊಂದಾಣಿಕೆಗೆ ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗಬಾರದು” ಎಂದು ವಾಗ್ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿದರು.

“ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಕೆಪಿಸಿಸಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷನಾದ ಬಳಿಕ ನಾವು ಅನೇಕ ಹೋರಾಟ, ಪಾದಯಾತ್ರೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆವು. ಆಗ ಬೆಲೆ ಏರಿಕೆ, ನಿರುದ್ಯೋಗ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಿಂದ ಜನ ಪರದಾಟ ನೋಡಿದೆವು. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ನಾವು ಪಂಚ ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿ ಯೋಜನೆ ನೀಡಿದೆವು. ನಂತರ ಅಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದ ಮೊದಲ ದಿನವೇ ಸಚಿವ ಸಂಪುಟ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ಅನುಮೋದನೆ ನೀಡಿದೆವು. ಆಮೂಲಕ ನಾವು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಮಾತಿನಂತೆ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡೆವು. 5-6 ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿ ಯೋಜನೆ ಜಾರಿ ನೀಡಿದೆವು. 200 ಯೂನಿಟ್ ವರೆಗೂ ಉಚಿತ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್, ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತ ಬಸ್ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ, ಬಡ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ಮಾಸಿಕ 2 ಸಾವಿರ, 10 ಕೆ.ಜಿ ಅಕ್ಕಿ, ನಿರುದ್ಯೋಗಿ ಯುವಕರಿಗೆ ನಿರುದ್ಯೋಗ ಭತ್ಯೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ” ಎಂದು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
ಕೇರಳಿಗರ ಹಿತಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಇಂದಿರಾ ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿಗಳು
“ನಮ್ಮ ನಾಯಕರಾದ ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಲ್ಲಿಕಾರ್ಜುನ ಖರ್ಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಯುಡಿಎಫ್ ಮೈತ್ರಿಕೂಟದ ನಾಯಕರು ಸೇರಿ ಕೇರಳಂ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಜನರನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಲು ಇಂದಿರಾ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಅವರ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು ಘೋಷಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಉಮ್ಮನ್ ಚಾಂಡಿ ಅವರ ನೆನಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ 25 ಲಕ್ಷದವರೆಗೂ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವಿಮೆ, ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಗರೀಕರ ಪಿಂಚಣಿ 3 ಸಾವಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಕೆ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರಿಗೆ 1 ಸಾವಿರ ಮಾಸಿಕ ಧನ, ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತ ಬಸ್ ಸಂಚಾರ ಯೋಜನೆ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಇನ್ನು ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ ನೀಡಲು 5 ಲಕ್ಷದವರೆಗೆ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ನೆರವು ನೀಡಲು ನಾವು ಬದ್ಧರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ” ಎಂದರು.
“ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಇದ್ದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಸರ್ಕಾರಗಳು ಕೇರಳಂ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಈ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರೆ, ಕಳೆದ ಹತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಎಲ್ ಡಿಎಫ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಜನರ ಬದುಕು ಬದಲಿಸುವ ಯೋಜನೆ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತರಬಹುದಿತ್ತು. ನೀವುಗಳು ಯಾಕೆ ಇಂತಹ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ತರಲಿಲ್ಲ? ಎಂದು ಸಿಎಂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೇಳಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನು ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಪ್ರಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದು ಜನರ ಸ್ಪಂದನೆ ನೋಡಿ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗಿದೆ. ಎಲ್ಲ ವರ್ಗದ ಜನ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷ ಹಾಗೂ ಯುಡಿಎಫ್ ಗೆ ಬೆಂಬಲ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕಳೆದ ಲೋಕಸಭೆ ಚುನಾವಣೆ, ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಚುನಾವಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜನ ಯುಡಿಎಫ್ ಮೈತ್ರಿಕೂಟಕ್ಕೆ ಭರ್ಜರಿ ಗೆಲುವು ನೀಡಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಬಾರಿ ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಬಲ ನೀಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಕೇರಳಂ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ಮುಖಗಳನ್ನು ಕಣಕ್ಕಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಯುಡಿಎಫ್ ಮೈತ್ರಿಕೂಟಕ್ಕೆ ಮೂರನೇ ಎರಡರಷ್ಟು ಬಹುಮತ ಸಿಗುವ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವಿದೆ. ಕೂಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಎನ್ಎಸ್ ಯುಐ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಿಗೆ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ನೀಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
Secret Understanding Between BJP and LDF
Thiruvananthapuram, April 6: Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka D K Shivakumar today said that the UDF alliance would deliver corruption-free, clean, and transparent governance in Kerala to support the development of the state.
“The government will work responsibly — we will transform the system to support Kerala’s development, attract investment, and create employment. Give us the opportunity to build a better Kerala,” he said while addressing a press conference at the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee office here.
Secret Understanding Between BJP and LDF
“This is God’s own country with its own proud history. But what happened with the gold theft at the Sabarimala Ayyappa Swami temple? In Karnataka, central investigative agencies conducted raids over a small transfer of funds from one corporation by an officer. In that case, even though the Special Investigation Team constituted by our government recovered 95% of the money, the CBI and ED intervened and arrested our minister. Even after we had our minister resign, there was such massive interference. But why is the CBI not intervening in the Sabarimala gold theft case despite court condemnation. Why was the truth not brought out and justice not delivered? No chargesheet has been filed. The people of Kerala are watching all of this. People from all parts of the country come to Sabarimala with great faith and devotion. Any party in power must respect the temple and the sentiments of devotees. Even though God’s own gold was stolen, the Prime Minister has not uttered a single word about it. This tells us a lot about the secret understanding between the central BJP government and the state LDF government. On this matter, it is not the local BJP leaders but the Prime Minister and Kerala’s Chief Minister who must answer. I myself have visited the Sabarimala Ayyappa Swami temple three or four times and continue to visit. I too have faith in Ayyappa Swami,” he stated.
“Keralites are conscious, educated, trustworthy, and hardworking people. Even when they work in other states, they come back and invest in their homeland. Yet the state government has failed to formulate policies for this. If you haven’t brought investment to this region, created employment, and grown the state’s GDP, what justification do you have for being in power? The central government is not raiding the LDF government b cause it has a cosy relationship with the central BJP government. But in Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and other states governed by Opposition parties, even the smallest case or allegation immediately results in FIRs and raids by investigative agencies. Yet here, despite numerous corruption cases, there is no investigation or intervention,” he lashed out.
No Development Even in the CM’s Own District
“I campaigned in Kannur — the district of the honourable Chief Minister himself – the other day. I spoke to the people and workers there. The Chief Minister has been in governance for a long time, so I asked what development work he had done. Has investment come to this district? Has the unemployment problem been resolved? Has tourism been given priority in this coastal district? I asked whether the Chief Minister had left any mark of development in the area. The people there said: nothing. In our states, a Chief Minister’s home district usually has visible development projects. After hearing the people speak, it became clear to me that a Chief Minister who could not develop his own constituency and district could hardly develop the state as a whole. The LDF government has been in power here for 10 years. I want to ask what this LDF government has given Kerala in terms of development. Unemployment has worsened, and every year 25 lakh young people leave this state in search of work — heading to Saudi Arabia, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, and other states and countries,” he said.
No Room for Investment in Kerala
“The Chief Minister must account for what investment he has brought to Kerala. Young Keralites who go to other states and countries for education still love their land and culture — they want to come back and work here. But only senior citizens are left living here now. Why are those working outside not being given the opportunity to come back and work in their own land? We have framed many policies in our state. When I spoke with many investors, they told me that Kerala’s policies are not open or conducive to business — there are no opportunities here. Every other state in the country is inviting investors, but this is not visible in Kerala. Despite abundant natural resources and human resources, conditions for industry growth are not being created. Of the 26 lakh engineers working in Bengaluru, 20% are Keralites. Keralites have achieved success across all sectors — healthcare, medical colleges, and beyond. But the Kerala state government has failed to steer the state on a path of success,” he criticised.
Enable Keralites Abroad to Come and Vote
“Compared to other states, Kerala’s debt burden is high — and yet there is no visible development. Price rise and unemployment have reached their peak. We conducted a survey of Keralites working in the UAE, and 90% of them want a change in power. They all want to come to Kerala and cast their votes. But are either the central government or the Kerala state government providing the necessary support for them to come and vote? Voting is their right — in a democratic nation, they must be allowed to exercise that right. If you deny them the right to vote, what message are you sending to the country? All political parties have their own ideologies. But the LDF’s ideology has changed — they are building a friendship with BJP. The Prime Minister is not even questioning you, let alone investigating you. The central government is protecting you. But that protection must benefit the state and its people — it must not be limited to political accommodation,” he attacked.
We Have Kept Our Word in Karnataka
“After I became KPCC president in Karnataka, we undertook many padayatras. We saw people suffering due to price rise and unemployment. That is why we announced the Five Guarantee schemes. After coming to power, we approved implementation of all guarantee schemes in the very first Cabinet meeting — we kept our word.”
Indira Guarantees for the Welfare of Keralites
“Our leaders Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, along with UDF alliance leaders, have announced guarantee schemes in the name of Indira Gandhi to safeguard the people of Kerala. In memory of Oommen Chandy, we have created health insurance of up to ₹25 lakh, increased senior citizens’ pension to ₹3,000, a monthly stipend of ₹1,000 for girl students, and a free bus travel scheme for women. We are also committed to providing financial assistance of up to ₹5 lakh to entrepreneurs to encourage job creation,” he said.
“I want to ask the Chief Minister why he did not bring such schemes? I am happy to see the public response during my campaign — people from all sections are supporting the Congress party and the UDF. In the last Lok Sabha elections and local body elections, the public gave the UDF alliance a resounding victory, and I am confident they will support us again in these Assembly elections. In this election, we have fielded new faces, and I am confident the UDF alliance will secure a two-thirds majority. We have given a ticket to the district NSUI president, the child of a daily wage labourer,” he added.
