ಇಂದು ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ ನಿಧನರಾದ ಮಾಜಿ ಸಚಿವ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಿರಿಯ ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿ ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರಗೌಡ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಡಿ.ಕೆ. ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ಸಂಜೆ ಅಂತಿಮ ನಮನ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಕಾಮಕ್ಷಿಪಾಳ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರಗೌಡ ಅವರ ಸ್ವಂತ ಜಮೀನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಗೌರವಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಂತ್ಯಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನೆರವೇರಿತು. ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಡಿ.ಕೆ. ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಟುಂಬಸ್ಥರು, ಬಂಧುಗಳು, ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಮುಖಂಡರು, ವಿವಿಧ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳ ನಾಯಕರು, ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಅಪಾರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಅಂತಿಮ ವಿಧಿವಿಧಾನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಗೌರವ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಪಡೆ ಗೌರವ ವಂದನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿತು. ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಗೌರವ ಪ್ರದಾನದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಧ್ವಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುತ್ತಲಾದ ಪಾರ್ಥಿವ ಶರೀರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂತಿಮ ಗೌರವ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಬಳಿಕ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಡಿ.ಕೆ. ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಧ್ವಜವನ್ನು ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರಗೌಡ ಅವರ ಪತ್ನಿ ಯಶೋಧಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಿ ಸಾಂತ್ವನ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಅವರು ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರಗೌಡ ಅವರ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಜೀವನ, ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಸೇವೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಾಜಮುಖಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿದರು. ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಅವರು ನೀಡಿದ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ಸದಾ ನೆನಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿಯಲಿದ್ದು, ಅವರ ಅಗಲಿಕೆ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪಾರ ನಷ್ಟವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಅಂತ್ಯಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಚಿವರು, ಶಾಸಕರು, ಮಾಜಿ ಶಾಸಕರು, ವಿವಿಧ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳ ಮುಖಂಡರು, ಹಿರಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ನೂರಾರು ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರಗೌಡ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಭಾವಪೂರ್ಣ ಅಂತಿಮ ನಮನ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar Pays Final Tributes to Former Minister Ramachandra Gowda
Bengaluru:
Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar paid his final respects to former Karnataka Minister and senior political leader Ramachandra Gowda, who passed away on Tuesday morning.
The last rites were performed with full state honours on Tuesday evening at his private land in Kamakshipalya, Bengaluru, in the presence of the Chief Minister. Family members, relatives, political leaders, public representatives, government officials and a large number of admirers gathered to pay their last respects.
As part of the state funeral, the police accorded ceremonial honours to the departed leader. The national flag, which had draped the mortal remains, was formally handed over by Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar to Ramachandra Gowda’s wife, Yashoda, as a mark of the state’s respect and gratitude for his public service.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister recalled Ramachandra Gowda’s contributions to public life and the development of Karnataka, describing his passing as a significant loss to the state.
Several ministers, legislators, former legislators, leaders from different political parties, senior officials and members of the public attended the funeral and offered their heartfelt tributes to the late leader.
