ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ: ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: ವಾಲ್ಮೀಕಿ ನಿಗಮದ ಹಣ ಲಪಟಾಯಿಸಿದ ಆರೋಪಿ ಸಚಿವ ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಅವರ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆಗೆ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ನಾಳೆ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಜನತಾ ಪಕ್ಷದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ವಿಧಾನಸೌಧಕ್ಕೆ ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆ ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷದ ನಾಯಕ ಆರ್ ಅಶೋಕ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಮಲ್ಲೇಶ್ವರದ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಲಯ ಜಗನ್ನಾಥ ಭವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ 9.30 ಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಉದ್ಯಾನದಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿ ವಿಧಾನಸೌಧಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಬಿ ವೈ ವಿಜಯೇಂದ್ರ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಮುಖಂಡರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿಸಿ ಮುಟ್ಟಿಸುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿ ಎಂದು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವ ಎಚ್ ಡಿ ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಷದವರು ಸಹಕಾರ ನೀಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಎಚ್ಡಿಕೆ ಹೇಳಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಇಡೀ ಸರ್ಕಾರವೇ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿದೆ….
ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆಗೆ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡ್ತಾ ಇದೆ. ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮತ್ತು ತಾಲೂಕು ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಗಲು ರಾತ್ರಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಿಡುವ ಮಾತಿಲ್ಲ. ದಲಿತರ ಹಣ ಲೂಟಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಜನರೂ ಖಂಡಿಸಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರೂ ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಧ್ವನಿಯೆತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಇಡೀ ಸರ್ಕಾರವೇ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ವಾಲ್ಮೀಕಿ ನಿಗಮದ̇ 187 ಕೋಟಿ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಲೂಟಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಮತ್ತು ತೆಲಂಗಾಣದ ಚುಣಾವಣೆಗೆ ಬಳಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಾವು ಹಗರಣ ಖಂಡಿಸಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಹೆದರಿರುವ ಆಡಳಿತ ಪಕ್ಷ ನಮ್ಮ ವಿರುದ್ಧವೇ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಬೀದಿಗಿಳಿದಿದೆ. ಸತ್ಯ ಮುಚ್ಚಿಡಲು ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ಮಾಡ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದರು.
ದಲಿತರ ಹಣ ನುಂಗಿದ ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ವಿಚಾರವಾಗಿ ಸದನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋರಾಟ ಸಹ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಒಂದರ ಹಿಂದೆ ಒಂದು ತಪ್ಪು ಮಾಡ್ತ ಇರುವ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಕಂಗೆಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟರ ಹಣ ಸದ್ಬಳಕೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಹೊಣೆಗಾರಿಕೆ ನಮಗಿದೆ. ಸಂವಿಧಾನದ ಮೌಲ್ಯ ಉಳಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂಬುದೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಎಂದರು.

ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಾಯಕರೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಿಷ್ಠೆ ಯಾರ ಪರ ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟರ ಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿ ಪರವೊ, ಸಂವಿಧಾನದ ಆಶಯದ ಪರವೊ ಜನರ ಪರವೊ, ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಪರವೊ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಲಿ. ಗಣಿಗಾರಿಕೆ ಸೇರಿ 35 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಲೂಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕಳ್ಳತನ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಅವರು ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಂವಿಧಾನದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರು ಪ್ರಮಾಣವಚನ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಡಿ ಕೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಉಪ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಡಾ. ಜಿ ಪರಮೇಶ್ವರ್ ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಸುಪ್ರೀಂಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಆದೇಶದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಸಚಿವ ಸಂಪುಟ ಹೇಗೆ ಇರಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆ. ಸಚಿವ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಕೇವಲ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಸಾಂವಿಧಾನಿಕ ನೈತಿಕತೆ, ಸಾಂವಿಧಾನಿಕ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ಇರಬೇಕು. ಆದರೆ ಯಾವ ಲಕ್ಷಣವೂ ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರು.

ಸಿಬಿಐ ಮತ್ತು ಜಾರಿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನಾಲಯ ತನಿಖೆ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಡಾ.ಜಿ ಪರಮೇಶ್ವರ್ ಅವರು ದ್ವಂದ್ವದ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವರಾದಾಗ ಒಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ಉಪ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾದಾಗ ಒಂದು ರೀತಿಯ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಚಿವರ ಆದೇಶದ ಮೇರೆ ಹಣ ವರ್ಗಾವಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಮೃತ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ್ ಡೆತ್ನೋಟ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆರೋಪಿಪಟ್ಟಿ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರಿಗೂ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಆರೋಪಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಹೆಸರು ಇಲ್ಲದೇ ಇದ್ದಿದ್ದರೆ ಸಿಬಿಐ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರ ಬಳಿ ಅನುಮತಿ ಕೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ನೆಕ್ಕುಂಡಿ ನಾಗರಾಜ್ ಸೇರಿ ಹಣ ವರ್ಗಾವಣೆಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿರುವುದು ವಿಧಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಾಲಯದ ದಾಖಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಡಿಕೆಶಿ ಸಂಪುಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರ ಜಾಸ್ತಿ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸಂಪುಟ ಪ್ರಾಸಿಕ್ಯೂಷನ್ಗೆ ಅನುಮತಿ ನೀಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಲೋಕಾಯುಕ್ತದವರು ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ, ಜನಾರ್ದನ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ ಮತ್ತು ರೇಣುಕಾಚಾರ್ಯ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಪ್ರಾಸಿಕ್ಯೂಷನ್ಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯವರಾದರೆ ಅನುಮತಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಸಂವಿಧಾನದ ಆಶಯಗಳ ಪರ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಹೋದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂವಿಧಾನದ ಪ್ರತಿ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ನ ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ, ಪ್ರಿಯಾಂಕಾ ವಾದ್ರಾ ತಿಳಿಯಲಿ. ಒಬ್ಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಾಗಿ ಜನರ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಯಾಕೆ ಲೂಟಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂಬುದೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಆಗ ಕಳ್ಳ. ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ದೋಷಮುಕ್ತ…
ಆರು ನೂರು ಖಾತೆಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿಗಮದ ಹಣ ವರ್ಗಾವಣೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಐಷಾರಾಮಿ ಕಾರು ಖರೀದಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಚಿನ್ನ ಖರೀದಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಆರೋಪಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿದೆ. ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಗಳು, ಆಪ್ತರು, ಫಾರ್ಮ್ ಹೌಸ್ ಮಾಲೀಕರಿಗೆ ಹಣ ಹೋಗಿರುವುದು ವಿವರ ಇದೆ. ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಹಣದ ಪಾಲು ಹೋಗಿದೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸದನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. 187 ಕೋಟಿ ತಿಂದಿಲ್ಲ ಕೇವಲ 89 ಕೋಟಿ ತಿಂದಿರೋದು ಎಂದು ಆಗಿನ ಸಿಎಂ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿರುವುದು ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರಿದ್ದಾಗ ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಕಳ್ಳ, ಆದರೆ ಡಿಕೆಶಿ ಸಿಎಂ ಆದಾಗ ಹೇಗೆ ದೋಷಮುಕ್ತರಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದರು.
ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಅವರ ಆಸ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆಯಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅವರು ತಪ್ಪು ಮಾಡದೇ ಇದ್ದಿದ್ದರೆ ಯಾಕೆ ಆಸ್ತಿ ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರ ಆಪ್ತ ನೆಕ್ಕುಂಡಿ ನಾಗರಾಜ್ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿರುವುದು ಸಹ ದಾಖಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಎಸ್ಐಟಿ ವರದಿಯಲ್ಲೂ ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಹೆಸರಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಮಾತ್ರ ದಲಿತ ಅಲ್ಲ…
ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರು ಸಿಎಂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ದಲಿತರ 42 ಸಾವಿರ ಕೋಟಿ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಳಸಿದರು. ಈಗ ದಲಿತರ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕಾದ ಹಣ ದುರ್ಬಳಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಾವು ದಲಿತರನ್ನು ಟಾರ್ಗೆಟ್ ಮಾಡ್ತ ಇದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಮಾತ್ರ ದಲಿತ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಮಹದೇವಪ್ಪ ಸಹ ದಲಿತರು. ತುಕಾರಾಂ ಪತ್ನಿ ಅನ್ನಪೂರ್ಣ, ಕಂಪ್ಲಿ ಗಣೇಶ್ ಸಹ ದಲಿತರೇ. ದಲಿತರ ಹಣ ತಿನ್ನುವಾಗ ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲವೇ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಈ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ನೈತಿಕತೆ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರು.
ರಾಜಭವನದ ಬಾಗಿಲು ತಟ್ಟುತ್ತೇವೆ….
ನಮ್ಮ ಹೋರಾಟ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಸದನದ ಒಳಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊರಗೆ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರವರೆಗೂ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಕೊನೆ ಅಸ್ತ್ರವಾಗಿ ರಾಜಭವನದ ಬಾಗಿಲು ತಟ್ಟುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ರೀತಿಯ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯೂ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ.
ಬೆಂಕಿ ಜ್ವಾಲೆ ಇದೆ. ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಪರ ಯಾರೂ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ ಪಡೆದು ನೈಸ್, ಬಿಡದಿ ವಿಷಯ ಚರ್ಚೆಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಲು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ದೇವರು ನೀಡುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂಬ ಆಶಾಭಾವನೆ ಇದೆ. ನಮಗೂ ಅಧಿವೇಶನ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಆದಾನಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಏಜೆಂಟ್ ಎಂದು ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಅದಾನಿಗೆ ಕೆಂಪು ಹಾಸು ಹಾಕಿದೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಾಯಕರು ಅನುಮತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆಯೇ? ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಡಿಕೆಶಿ ಅವರು ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿಗೆ ಬುದ್ಧಿ ಹೇಳಲಿ ಎಂದು ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಟನಲ್ ರಸ್ತೆಗಾಗಿ ಉದ್ಯಾನ, ಲೇಕ್ಗಳ ಜಾಗ ಕಬಳಿಸಲು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮುಂದಾಗಿದೆ. ಖಾಸಗಿ ಜಾಗ ಪಡೆದರೆ ಹಣ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು. ಇವರ ಹತ್ರ ಹಣ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮಸೂದೆ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಕಾನೂನುಬಾಹಿರ. ಮಾರಿಕಣ್ಣು ಹೋರಿ ಮೇಲೆ ಅನ್ನೋ ಹಾಗೆ ಡಿಕೆಶಿ ಕಣ್ಣು ಪಾರ್ಕ್ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೇಡ. ಇದರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಕಣ್ಣು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ನೋಡಲಿ, ಬಾಯಿ ತೆರೆಯಲಿ ಎಂದು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು.

Bengaluru: Opposition Leader in the Legislative Assembly R. Ashok said that the Bharatiya Janata Party will lay siege to Vidhana Soudha tomorrow demanding the resignation of Minister Nagendra, who is accused of misappropriating funds from the Valmiki Nigam.
Speaking to the media at the state BJP office, Jagannath Bhavan, in Malleshwaram, he said that the protest would begin at 9:30 a.m. from Swatantra Udyan (Freedom Park) and activists would then lay siege to Vidhana Soudha. Several leaders, including state BJP president B.Y. Vijayendra, would participate.
“We will make the government feel the heat. Central Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy has said the protest should continue. Our party workers will extend cooperation,” he said, quoting HDK.

The BJP has been continuously agitating for Nagendra’s resignation. Day-and-night protests are being held at district and taluk centres. This will not be allowed to end here. The people of the state are also condemning and protesting the looting of Dalit funds. They too have raised their voice against Nagendra. Because of this, the entire government has been cornered, he said.
“I have provided evidence that ₹187 crore from the Valmiki Nigam was looted and used in elections in Karnataka and Telangana. Because we are condemning the scam and protesting, the frightened ruling party has itself taken to the streets to protest against us. They are protesting to cover up the truth,” he said.
There will also be a struggle in the House over Nagendra, who swallowed Dalit money. The government, which is committing one mistake after another, is in a panic. Scheduled Caste funds must be used properly and we have public accountability. Our aim is to uphold the values of the Constitution, he said.

Nagendra’s name is in the charge sheet…
Deputy Chief Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara has given contradictory statements regarding the CBI and Enforcement Directorate investigation. When he was Home Minister he said one thing; after becoming Deputy Chief Minister he is saying something else. The deceased official Chandrashekar has stated in his death note that the money was transferred on the minister’s orders. The charge sheet has been filed and sent to the Governor as well. If Nagendra’s name was not in the charge sheet, the CBI would not have sought the Governor’s permission. The forensic science laboratory records show that Nagendra and Nekkundi Nagaraj discussed the money transfers, he said.
There is more corruption in the DK Shivakumar Cabinet. That is why the Cabinet will not grant permission for prosecution. The Lokayukta has sought prosecution permission against Nagendra, Janardhana Reddy and Renukacharya in various cases. If it were the BJP, permission would be granted, he said.

When Siddaramaiah was CM, Nagendra was a thief; how does he become innocent after DK Shivakumar became CM? he asked.
After Nagendra’s arrest, his properties were attached. If he had not done anything wrong, why were the properties attached? The conversations between Nagendra and his close associate Nekkundi Nagaraj on mobile phones are also on record. Nagendra’s name is also in the SIT report, he said.
Nagendra is not the only Dalit…
When Siddaramaiah was Chief Minister, ₹42,000 crore of Dalit funds were used for guarantees. Now the money that should have gone for Dalit welfare has been misused. They claim we are targeting Dalits. Nagendra is not the only Dalit. Mahadevappa is also a Dalit. Tukaram’s wife Annapurna and Kampli Ganesh are also Dalits. Did Nagendra not know this when he was swallowing Dalit money? Therefore this government has no morality whatsoever, he said.
We will knock on the doors of Raj Bhavan…
Our struggle will continue continuously both inside and outside the House. Ultimately we will go up to the Governor. As a last resort we will knock on the doors of Raj Bhavan. Apart from this, we will also decide on various other forms of protest.
There is a fire raging. No one is speaking in favour of Nagendra. There is hope that God will give the Congress the good sense to take Nagendra’s resignation and allow discussion on issues like NICE and Bidadi. We also have the responsibility to ensure that the session runs well, he said.
Rahul Gandhi has called Adani a BJP agent. But the Karnataka government has rolled out the red carpet for Adani. Have the Congress leaders given permission for this? Therefore DK Shivakumar should advise Rahul Gandhi, he suggested.
Eyeing the parks…
The state government is moving to grab space from parks and lakes for a tunnel road. If private land is acquired, money has to be paid. They do not have the money. That is why a bill has been prepared. This is illegal. Like the saying “Mari kannu hori mele” (a calf’s eye on the bull), DK Shivakumar’s eye should not be on the parks. Let Rahul Gandhi open his eyes and speak out against this, he demanded.
