According to the affidavit submitted by BJP candidate Anant kumar Hegde he is a crorepati and his family has the asset of Rs. 8.5 cores. Of that Anant kumar owns the property of Rs. 2.83 crores. The value of the movable property is 35.36 Lakhs and immovable property is Rs. 2.47 Lakhs. He has 100 grams of gold worth Rs. 1.50 lakhs and deposited money in different bank is Rs. 1.88 Lakhs. He owns the vehicles worth Rs. 9.61 Lakhs and has invested Rs. 5.90 Lakhs in different schemes. The total value of the insurance is Rs. 1.75 lakhs, according to the affidavit.
Anant kumar’s wife Shriroopa has the property worth Rs. 5.62 crores. She owns the movable property worth Rs. 3.18 crores and immovable property worth 1.81 crores. Shriroopa owns the gold worth Rs. 8.50 Lakhs and has deposited Rs. 4.70 Lakhs in different banks. She owns the vehicle worth Rs. 5.50 lakhs and has invested Rs. 3.1crores. Insurance value she has is Rs. 2 lakhs. She has credited Rs. 45 lakhs and the cash in hand is Rs. 55,000-00
Anant kumar’s daughter has the movable property worth Rs. 72836 and has the insurance of Rs. 65000-00. She has deposited Rs. 7800-00 in the bank. Anant kumar’s son Ashutosh has the movable property worth Rs. 1.52 lakhs and insurance of Rs. 50000-00.
The liability of Anant kumar is that Anant kumar has taken the loan of Rs. 1.27 crores and his wife has the loan of Rs. 2.82 crores.
Anant kumar is facing four different criminal cases in Sirsi, Kittur and Honnavar according to the affidavit.
