Star Air started its new operation under UDAN-3 at Belagavi Airport in the Bengaluru-Belagavi -Ahmedabad-Belagavi-Bengaluru sector.
A small event was organized by M/s. Ghodawat (StFar Air) to commemorate its commencement of operations from Belagavi Airport.
The event started with lightening of sacred candle and cutting of cake by Sh. Rajesh Kumar Maurya, Airport Director, Belagavi Airport and the lady passengers of the flight. The official of the Airline expressed his thanks and gratitude to all the Representatives of People of Belagavi, all
the citizens and different organizations of Belagavi city and Airports Authority of India for their constant effort and contribution towards bringing the Airport under UDAN-3 Scheme.
The Star Air flight will operate on a daily basis except Tuesday from Belagavi Airport with arrival from Bengaluru Airport at 0840 IST and departure to Ahmedabad Airport at 0920 IST and return from Ahmedabad Airport at 1300 IST and departure at 1350 IST to Bengaluru. On Sunday arrival from Bengaluru Airport at 1615 IST and departure to Ahmedabad Airport at 1640 IST and return from Ahmedabad Airport at 2020 IST and departure at 2040 IST to Bengaluru
The load factor is more than 85%, 43 passengers in Belagavi Ahmedabad route, 41 in Ahmedabad-Belagavi and 42 in Belagavi Bengaluru out of 50 seater aircraft.
