A Belagavi court has held an accused husband guilty of not only having unnatural sex with his wife but also forcing her to repeatedly have sex with a dog. The quantum of the punishment would be declared on Wednesday.
The incident was reported on March 22, 2017 in Hulakund village under the limits of Katakol police station. The accused had married the complainant in 2010 and began harassing her since 2015. He used to threaten her to obey his orders and repeatedly torturing her to leave the house.
As per the complainant the accused used to show the videos of the unnatural sex to the victim and forcing her to cooperate with him to do the same. Despite his harassment the wife wanted to continue to live with him and was cooperating, the charge sheet said.
But the harassment did not stop there. The husband brought a puppy and forced the victim to have sex with it. The wife tried to convince him but in vain. When he threw her and her children from the home she lodged a complaint against him.
Katakol police had filed a charge sheet after the investigation. After the trial V. B. Suryavamshi, 8th Additional Session and District Judge has held the accused guilty and announce that the quantum of the punishment will be declared on Wednesday. Kiran S Patil had argued for the prosecution.
