Liquor, Wine Sale Re-commences from Monday

Pragativahini News, Belagavi :  An non-describing celebration atmosphere gripped among the liquor lovers as liquor and wines would be available for open sale after more than 40 days in the district from Monday.

As laid a few strict guidelines to sale the liquor has been laid, the shop keepers are barricading to customers to come and buy the liquor in counters and marking on the equal distance to stand the customers in safe distance. Liquor lovers curiously taking rounds to the liquor outlets.

Excise department allowed the to sale IMFL from 9am to 7pm. Each person can get maximum 2.3 litre IMFL and 18 litre beer a day. The district has 270 liquor and wine outlets. The city has 100 MSIL and MRP outlets. Bars have not been allowed to sale liquor.

The excise department said there is sufficient liquor in the outlets and customers should not mess the situation to purchase the stuff.

Only five customers can be allowed to purchase at the counter and outlets must issue sanitisers compulsorily to every customer before handing them over the stuff.
