Mallikarjun Mahadevappa Gudashetty (35) a prime accused in the murder case of Rahul Sharanappa Diwatagi (27) a resident of Vadagavi – Annapurneshwari Nagar was arrested by Tilakawadi police.
Mallikarjuna was absconding for more than 9 months after committing the crime. According to the police Mallikarjun and three of his accomplices had entered into a conspiracy to had murdered Rahul allegedly for having illicit relationship with the wife of Mallikarjun. Later the accuse had thrown the body in the forest near Tilari dam. Three of the accused had been arrested by the police soon after the crime.
Mahanteshwar Jiddi, ACP (Crime), And A. Chandrappa ACP Khade Bazar have now succ3ded in arresting main accused with the help of their staff members.
