Neither Kore, Nor Katti, Its Iranna Kadadi for Rajya Sabha Post from BJP
Pragativahini News, Belagavi : In a surprising development, the BJP High Command has chosen Iranna Kadadi for the Rajya Sabha in place of Prabhakar Kore. And Ashok Gasti from Raichur Had to for another place.
The, High Command, kept aside the recommendation of State Core Committee which tabled the names of sitting Rajya Sabha member Prabhakar Kore or former party MP Ramesh Katti for a post and Prakash Shetty’ s name for other post. The High Command’s selection even shocked not only the BJP but also candidate Kadadi.
Kadadi known for simplicity, humbleness was the preside of Belagavi Zilla Panchayat. Hailing from a tiny village in Mudalagi taluk he is remaining loyal to the party.
Kore who represented the party twice was tried also for the third term and former MP Ramesh Katti, a brother of BJP bigwig, MLA Umesh Katti also tried as he was promised the ticket by the state leaders.
