Mahesh Heddu Gouda, 45, a resident of Baithkol in Karwar died on Monday when accidently fell in the sea. Mahesh was catching the fish in Arabian sea it is said. Later his body was later recovered by the police.
In another incident body of Akshay Bhageendran a resident of Coimbatore who had drowned in Arabian sea at Paradise beach in Gokarna on Saturday was recovered at Kagal beach in Kumta taluk on Monday. M. Basha Hussain, a resident of Coimbatore in a complaint at Gokarna police station on Sunday had stated that his son Azeer Basha Hussain and his friend Akshay had gone for tour to Paradise beach with three other friends. While standing on a boulder in the sea a huge wave hit Azeer who fell in the water. His friends Sajad and Akshay had tried to save him. Azeer and Akshay had washed away. Basha Hussain had requested the police to search the missing persons. Akshay’s body was recovered after a search. The body of the Azeer is yet to be recovered.
