The Walkathon arranged to create the awareness about voting among the people received a good response. K. V. Rajendra, Chairman of Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation program (SVEEP) who is the CEO Belagavi Zilla Panchayat and Cantonment CEO Divya Hosur inaugurated the Walkathon. They said that the main aim of the programme is to create awareness about the mandatory and fearless voting and they thanked Belagavi Votes 100% organisation for the cooperation.
Thousands of people participated in the Walkathon which commenced at CPEd ground and passed to Hindalaga temple, Hanuman Nagar, Jadhav Nagar and ended at EPED ground.
Chaitanya Kulkarni, Sachin Sabnis, Sandeep Nair, Satish Kulkarni, Kiran Nippanikar, M. K. Hegde, Anand Bukkebag, Mukul Choudhari, Shashidhar Nadagouda, Rohit Deshpande, Vinod Deshpande, Ashutosh Devid, Ajay Heda, Mayur Shivalkar, Keerti Temba, Renu Kulkarni, Narasimha Joshi, Rajesh Heda and others were present.
