The janaspandana programme in 26 wards of the Belagavi south constituency which was going on for last three days concluded today. The programme which was conducted under the leadership of Abhay Patil MLA drew a good response from the public.
The main problem of these wards were water, drainage, roads, waste disposal and street lights it is found. Of the 942 complaints received MLA solved 97 on the spot in the presence of the officials. Regarding other complaints MLA will conduct a spot inspection tomorrow Tuesday from 7 am.
People lauded the unique method of the MLA to solve the problems faced by them.
Speaking to the media Abhay Patil said that ‘if we find the solution for the problems faced by the people then only the janaspandana meaningful programme. Officials should get involved with the people to fulfil the aspiration of the people,’ Abhay Patil said.
