Pragativahini News, Belagavi – To commemorate the completion of twenty five years, Maratha Mandal’s Nathajirao G. Halgekar Institute of Dental Sciences & Research Center will be celebrating its Silver Jubilee on 13th October 2019.
Rajashree Halgekar, Chairman, Marata Mandal Education Institute informed in a press conference. The event will be inaugurated by Dr. Mahesh Verma, Chancellor of Indraprastha University, Gurgaon Singh, at 5 pm.
Started in 1992, the Medical Science Center has won numerous national and international awards over the past 25 years. Students are coming to learn from different parts of the country.
Maratha Mandal’s Nathajirao G. Halgekar Institute of Dental Sciences & Research Center, believing that education is the most powerful weapon to effect a change in the world. Aim has been to educate students with the state of art technologies by adopting integrated teaching modules and evidence based dentistry to assist them in emerging as competent professionals with high ethical values.
In our expedition of over a quarter of a century as a Dental College, we believe that our future growth depends on continuing research and development. Research has always been the fabric of our Dental College. With a firm belief in this philosophy, the Department of Molecular Biology & Immunology was established. With leaps in Science and technology over the past one and a half decade this department metamorphosed into the Central Research Laboratory said Rajashree.
Meanwhile, a drug research center, an animal house and a medical park are being opened to commemorate the silver festival, will be inaugurated by Dr. S. Sachidananda, Chancellor of the Rajiv Gandhi University, King Shuk Poddar, CEO of Andhra Pradesh Atal Innovation Center, Padma Bhushan Brigadier Dr. Anila Kohli, Mangalore MLA Dr. Bharat Shetty and Ramanna Ramanathan.
Nagaraj Yadava, Dr. Ramakantha Nayaka, Dr. Kishora Bhat, Madushree Poojari were present at the press conference.
