Woman Burnt Alive in Car Near Amboli Water Falls was Not the Wife of Padmannavar
Pragativahini News, Amboli (Maharashtra) : The woman who burnt alive in a car near Amboli Water Falls in Maharashtra on Wednesday night was not the wife of Dundappa Padmannavar with whom she was traveling.
The deceased woman has been identified as Rizwana Patarwad, 41, from Kangral galli in Belagavi. She was a mother of two of one the elder son is working in Chennai and daughter married to a person at Ajara in Chandaghad taluk in Kolhapur district.
Padmannavar was the family friend of the deceased woman with whom she been to Amboli where both of them stayed at a resort for two days.
The Swift car in which Rizwana and Padmannavar were traveling was ‘accidentally’ caught afire where Padmannavar who was driving the car got out soon after the vehicle got afire while Rizwana couldn’t as she couldn’t remove her seat belt and burnt alive.
Rizwan’ son-in-law has doubted on the incident and suspected she might have murdered by setting afire to the car and has filed a case with the Amboli police.
Padmannavar is undergoing treatment at a hospital at Goa.
