The Department of MBA at Jain College of Engineering has organized four Days of Extensive Workshop on Capital Markets to all its students from 25th April to 28th April 2019. The Workshop is organized by Jain College of Engineering in association with Mumbai Based Equity Research firm.
The Resource Person of the Workshop will be Mr. Ronak Moondra, MS in Financial Engineering (USA) holds Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification from GARP USA. His domain expertise are Portfolio & Risk Management, Quantitative Investment strategies, Statistical Arbitrage and Financial Modelling. He is consultant and trainer for NSE Academy Ltd & NISM (SEBI). He Trains students for various international certifications. He is also known globally for his unique way of teaching capital markets.
The Second Resource Person is: Mr. Nitin who comes with rich experience in commodity markets. His experience covers physical and electronic trading. He has worked in various roles in commodity trading : International Arbitrager, Swing trader and Statistical Arbitrager. His uniqueness is to catch the trade at the start of the trend and ride it all along: “True Trend Trader”. He has trained many students across India.
Dr. S Rohitraj , HOD of MBA Department at Jain College of Engineering said that the Workshop will help students to upgrade their knowledge in the area of Equity Research. The Workshop starts at 10 AM in the morning and ends at 5 PM on all the four days . The contents of the workshop will be: Basics of Capital Markets, Basic To Advance Technical Analysis, Basics of Options Analysis, Investment theory & Portfolio construction. He even said some of the features of the training program: Live trading demonstration , 28 hours live classroom session , Web based Notes and PPT for each students , Recorded lectures for future reference , Quiz covering all the concepts of Markets , Comprehensive Industry driven project for each student. He even said that the workshop will help students to understand the operational and trading aspects of markets , Interpret, analyze and build strategies as per market behavior, Foundation for portfolio management and risk analysis, Comprehensive Industry level training.
The Chairman GC of JGI , Belagavi , Mr. Radheshyam Heda said that Stock Market Training is very Important to MBA Students because The stock market is now becoming the leading business strategy attracting millions of traders from round the globe. There are many different types of stock markets and trading platforms, providing ample opportunities for the traders to trade at their convenience. Although, people are aware of the risks involved in trading, they still choose to trade because of the huge profit potential in this business and it is absolutely your decision to continue or not. However, having fundamental knowledge is imperative to trade with some reasonable profit and avoid the chances of loss. There is lot of Opportunities for the MBA students in this area.
