PYAAS FOUNDATION celebrated world environment day and eid in a very unique way.
Today PYAAS FOUNDATION , Interactors of Kle International School and volunteers of Jeevan Vidya Mission had an opportunity to enter the elite training area of the Central Reserve Police Force. Children from a local school in Torali village joined.
On the one side there were the city kids and on the other students from the village, the kids easily mixed with each other and planted trees together as if they were bum chums. But clearly the village kids had the upper hand , they knew exactly how to plant the trees and taught important lessons to not only the city kids but also to all.
The army men did not miss their families today as they had hundreds of children ready to play with them and learn from them.The plantation went on military precision , the holes were dug , plants kept in place , tankers of water kept ready , the kids had to plant and water the trees.
The Jawans took special care of the kids , they helped plant, water and support the plants. The Toroli kids also received special gifts like books and crayons and were escorted safely to their village by the CRPF. The KLE kids also did a wonderful job.
Around a thousand trees are planted on this world environment day and CRPF has machinery in place to take care of the plants till the rains.
