ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ: ಬಿಬಿಎಂಪಿ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗೆಲ್ಲುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ತನಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದಂತೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರನ್ನು ವಿಭಜನೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಪಕ್ಷ ನಾಯಕ ಆರ್.ಅಶೋಕ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಸುದ್ದಿಗಾರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರನ್ನು ಅತಂತ್ರವಾಗಿ ಐದು ಭಾಗ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ರಾಜಕೀಯ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ ಗೆಲ್ಲಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಗುರಿಯಿಂದ ವಿಭಜನೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಐದು ಪಾಲಿಕೆಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ತಾರತಮ್ಯ ಉಂಟಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಇದರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕೋರ್ಟ್‌ ಮೊರೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರನ್ನು ಒಡೆಯಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಜನರು ಕೇಳಿಲ್ಲ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ತೆರಿಗೆ, ಸೆಸ್‌, ಇ ಖಾತಾದಿಂದ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಬಿಎಂಪಿ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ಗೆ ಸೋಲು ಖಚಿತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಅದನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಲು ಹೀಗೆ ಭಾಗ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಕಪ್ಪು ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆದಾರರಿಗೆ ಸುರಂಗ ರಸ್ತೆ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಸುರಂಗ ರಸ್ತೆಗೆ ಟೋಲ್‌ ಕೂಡ ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತರು ಮಾತ್ರ ಇದನ್ನು ಬಳಸಬಹುದು. ಜನಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಇದರಿಂದ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಹಕಾರವಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ದುಡ್ಡು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆ ಹೊಡೆಯುವ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ನಾಡಪ್ರಭು ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡರು ಕಟ್ಟಿದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರನ್ನು ಭೂಕಂಪದ ನಾಡು ಮಾಡಬಾರದು ಎಂದರು.
ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಳ ಮೇಲ್ಸೇತುವೆ ಬಳಿಯ ಜಂಕ್ಷನ್‌ಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ವಾಹನಗಳು ಬರುತ್ತವೆ. ಅಂತಹ ಜಾಗವನ್ನು ಖಾಸಗಿ ಭೂ ಮಾಲೀಕರಿಗೆ ನೀಡಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮುಂದಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿ ಸದನದಲ್ಲಿ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ಇ ಖಾತಾ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರಿಗೆ ತೊಂದರೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಹಣ ಲೂಟಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರನ್ನು ಬಳಸಬಾರದು ಎಂದರು.
ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರನ್ನು ಹೋಳು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್‌ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಸದ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಹೋಳು ಮಾಡುವುದರಿಂದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಹಣ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಅನುದಾನವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಶೂನ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಹೊಸ ಪಾಲಿಕೆಗಳ ರಚನೆಯಿಂದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಜನರ ಹೃದಯ ಚೂರಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಇದರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡಲು ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ನಾಲ್ವಡಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣರಾಜ ಒಡೆಯರ್‌ ಅವರು ಹಳೆ ಮೈಸೂರು ಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯನ್ನು ನಾವು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಬೇಕು. ಕೆಆರ್‌ಎಸ್‌ ಜಲಾಶಯದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಜೀವಜಲ ದೊರೆತಿದೆ. ಅವರ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳಿಂದಾಗಿ ಜನರು ಅನ್ನ ತಿನ್ನುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸೋಪ್‌ ಫ್ಯಾಕ್ಟರಿ, ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಹಿಡಿದವರೇ ಅವರು. ಚಿನ್ನಾಭರಣ ಅಡವಿಟ್ಟು ಜಲಾಶಯ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದವರಿಗೂ, ಮುಡಾದಲ್ಲಿ 14 ಸೈಟುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆ ಹೊಡೆದವರಿಗೂ ಹೋಲಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಬಾರದು. ಯತೀಂದ್ರ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಮಹಾರಾಜರ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪಮಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕೂಡಲೇ ಅವರು ಕ್ಷಮೆ ಕೇಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು.
ಹುಲಿಗಳು ಸಾಯುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದರೆ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಸತ್ತುಹೋಗಿದೆ ಎಂದೆನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ನಡುವೆ ಗೋವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇಯಿಸುವಂತಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬ ಆದೇಶ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಕ್ರಮ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರು.
136 ಸೀಟುಗಳನ್ನು ಗೆದ್ದಿರುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಮಗೂ ಅನುಮಾನವಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನಾವು ಹೇಳಬಹುದು. ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋತಾಗ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕರ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾಳಿ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗಲೂ ಹೀಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದರು ಎಂದರು.
Maharajas Should Not Be Compared to Those Who Looted MUDA Sites
Bengaluru: The Congress government has divided Bengaluru to suit its electoral motives in the BBMP elections, and the BJP will fight against this, said Opposition Leader R. Ashoka.
Speaking to reporters, he stated that Bengaluru has been arbitrarily split into five parts for political reasons and to ensure Congress’s victory. This division will lead to disparities among the five civic bodies. The BJP will take the matter to court and protest against it. He noted that people did not demand the division of Bengaluru. The city is already grappling with issues like taxes, cess, and e-khata. Congress is certain to lose the BBMP elections, and this division is an attempt to avoid that defeat, he alleged.
He criticized the government for awarding tunnel road projects to blacklisted contractors. The toll on these tunnel roads will make them accessible only to the wealthy, offering no benefit to the common man. While the BJP supports development, it will oppose projects meant for looting money. Bengaluru, built by Nadaprabhu Kempegowda, should not be turned into a “land of earthquakes,” he said.
The government is planning to hand over land near the Hebbal flyover junction, a busy traffic hub, to private landowners, which will be discussed and opposed in the assembly. The e-khata system is causing trouble for people, and Bengaluru should not be used for financial exploitation, he added.
The Congress government is “tearing Bengaluru apart.” Traffic and garbage issues are rampant, and dividing the city will not lead to development. Funds must be allocated for development, as progress is currently stagnant due to a lack of grants. The creation of new civic bodies will break the hearts of Bengaluru’s residents, and a meeting has been held to plan protests against this, he said.
Ashoka emphasized the contributions of Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar to Old Mysore, noting that the KRS reservoir provided life-giving water, enabling people to prosper. Wadiyar’s achievements include building soap factories, universities, and upholding social justice. Comparing someone who pawned gold jewelry to build a reservoir with those who looted 14 sites in MUDA is unacceptable. Yathindra Siddaramaiah has insulted the Maharaja’s family and must apologize immediately, he demanded.
Seeing tigers die feels like the forest department is defunct. Meanwhile, an order banning cattle grazing in forests is not a good move, he said.
Regarding Congress’s claim of winning 136 seats, Ashoka remarked that even the BJP has doubts about it. He criticized Congress for demanding proof when they lose elections or when action is taken against terrorists, referencing similar demands in the past.
