ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ, ನವದೆಹಲಿ: ಆರೋಗ್ಯ, ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪಾರ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿರುವ ಕೆಎಲ್ಇ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಡ.ಪ್ರಭಾಕರ ಕೋರೆಯವರಿಗೆ ಈಬಾರಿಯ ಪದ್ಮಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಘೋಷಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
2026ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ಪದ್ಮ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪುರಸ್ಕೃತರ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಒಟ್ಟು 5 ಜನರು ಪದ್ಮ ವಿಭೂಷಣ, 13 ಜನ ಪದ್ಮ ಭೂಷಣ ಮತ್ತು 113 ಮಂದಿಗೆ ಪದ್ಮಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗೆ ಭಾಜನರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆ ಪೈಕಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಶತಾವಧಾನಿ ಆರ್. ಗಣೇಶ್ಗೆ ಪದ್ಮ ಭೂಷಣ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಲಭಿಸಿದೆ. ಕೆಎಲ್ಇ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಅನುಪಮ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿರುವ ಡಾ.ಪ್ರಭಾಕರ ಕೋರೆಯವರಿಗೆ ಪದ್ಮಶ್ರೀ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಡಾ. ಪ್ರಭಾಕರ ಕೋರೆ ಅವರು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆಯ ಶಕ್ತಿಶಾಲಿ ಸಾಧನವೆಂದು ನಂಬಿ, ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಮತ್ತು ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ತಲುಪಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಪಾತ್ರವಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕೆಎಲ್ಇ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ, ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ, ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ, ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಬದುಕಿಗೆ ಬೆಳಕು ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಉತ್ತೇಜನಕ್ಕೂ ಅವರು ವಿಶೇಷ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮೌಲ್ಯಾಧಾರಿತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನವೀಯತೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಯುವಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಪಾತ್ರ ಶ್ಲಾಘನೀಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಕೇವಲ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗದೆ ಸಮಾಜ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ಅವರ ಚಿಂತನೆ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ.

His role in imparting the values of ethics, culture, and humanism to the younger generation through value-based education is highly commendable.
