Is former prime Minister and JDS supremo H. D Devegowda is preparing the ground to dump the Congress party in the state? The question is being raised in the political circles of the state after some of the recent moves of HDD.
Devegowda is said to be angry with Congress party and its leaders in the state. He has arrived at the conclusion that the state government led by Kumaraswamy will not survive for more days once the Lok Sabha election results are out. Devegowda is contemplating to join the hands with BJP it is said.
HDD who always veers round the power is planning to give up Chief Minister Post of Kumaraswamy and make BJP’s B. S. Yedyurappa Chief Minister of the state. Gowda’s son H. D. Revanna will be the Deputy CM it is said. . this is the reason behind HDD’s cange in his anti-BJP stance, it is said.
HDD has not shown any hurry to form the anti-BJP platform in the country on the eve of counting of votes. The anti-BJP platform is being formed by Andhra Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. When HDD met Naidu at Bengaluru on Tuesday, he did not show enthusiasm to form the anti-BJP alliance at national level. HDD reportedly told Naidu that he would wait until the LS results are out. He advised Naidu not to rush to form the anti-BJP platform and told his to wait for the result.
This move of HDD has raised the suspicion that he is moving towards BJP. There is a polarisation in the state after the exit polls are out. The clear picture will merge only after the actual results are out it is said
