A woman who tried to commit suicide with her three minor children (a boy and two girls) has been rescued at Gokak falls. The woman hailed from Nagaramunnoli village.
Ramesh Gadivaddar and Parashuram Gadivaddar two youths who noticed this brought the women and her children to the Ghataprabha police station with help of the member Karnataka Rakshana Vedike. Later they were handed over to their relatives.
Gram Panchayat member Vithal Gadivaddar, Karnataka Rakshana Vedike members Rehman Mokashi, Ajit Mallapur, Ameer Khan, Jagadal Ravi Navi, Vasant Nayik and others were present.
