Pragativahini News, Belagavi : Kannada Chaluvali Paksha leader Vatal Nagaraj and about 15 other Kannada activists who were arriving here to protest against Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray have been blocked by police at Toll Plaza at Hirebagewadi on Monday afternoon.
As per prior schedule, Nagaraj and the activists were arriving in cars to Belagavi to hold a protest at Rani Channamma circle. Police prevented them from entering the city to maintain law and order. They are expected to be left at Kittur town.
The Kannada activists had planned a protest and burning an effigy of Thackeray on his comment of Karnataka.
