The health condition of Anjali Nimbalkar, Khanapur MLA who had suffered injuries in an accident near Solapur on Friday has improved and she would be discharged from the hospital today, the sources said.
Anjali is undergoing treatment in Gangamayi hospital in Solapur. She was kept in an ICU after she suffered head injuries in the accident. As there is no internal injury she has no major problem the doctors said. Doctors have stitched the right part of her head after the injuries.
Anjali was proceeding to Nanded in Maharashtra to participate in the election campaigning and her vehicle had collided head-on with another vehicle near Solapur. The car had turtled thrice and completely damaged in the accident.
Her gunman and driver too had injured in the incident.
