Karnataka Law Society’s Gogte Institute of Technology flagship event national level cultural fest “Aura-19” Shor in the City is concluded with Music live Concert by Neeti Mohan.
To have the perfect balance between core academics, technical, curriculum & extracurricular activities, in every summer, GIT provides one of the biggest platforms for the students across the nation to come together & showcase their multifaceted talent and rise to the tallest fame. It’s one of the most happening & popular cultural events of Karnataka.
“Aura-19” had multiple cultural and literary events within it like Dance, Literary events, Music, Shourya vyuha, Regional Flavors, Fine Arts, Dramatics, Fashion Show and Mr & Miss Aura. In the previous Auras renowned bolly wood singers like KK, Sunidhi Chauhan, Farhan Akthar, Shankar Mahadevan, Vishal – Shekahr and Amit Trivedi, Armaan Malik and group have rocked the stage by performing live @GIT. This year GIT witnessed melodious musical evening by famous playback singer Neeti Mohan.
“Aura -19” was held from 30th March to 1st April 2019. All three days of “Aura -19” were full of enthusiasm and energy with many fascinating cultural and literary events. The entire campus flooded up with more than 2000 excited students. Students showcased their talents in group dance on different themes like patriotism, socialism, unity in diversity Etc.
On the themes like mythology and Color Perspective more than 15 teams have done the ramp walk in the fashion show. In the solo singing competition many melodious tunes were recited by the students. Emotions and Memories were framed in a very professional manner in the photography and movie making competitions. Participants have scripted their thoughts in the literary events on the themes based on the socialism. Many teams have shown their expressive and acting talent in the skit competition. Skits were written and directed on the subjects related to social issues.
Last day evening GIT campus completely packed with excited souls and was waiting for the live in concert by famous Bollywood singer Neeti Mohan. She started with melodious Ishq Wala love, Aja balam, Naino Wale ne, Pyara Manga hai tumhi se…., Tumne apna banake junoon, Agar tum saath ho…etc songs then she rocked the stage by singing punjabi songs, London thumakada, Badri ki dilhania, Tune meri entry, Blama pichkari for all these songs complete crowd was flying in the air, finally she left the crowd with music nasha by singing very famous song Dum Maroo Dum.
Overall show was tremendous and mind-blowing. More than 7500 crowd was enjoyed two and half an hour live in concert show with full of excitement and entrainment. Many Higher police officers, Government officials, Members of Karnatak Law Society and their families and other invitees were present and enjoyed the show.
Under the guidance of Principal and faculty coordinators, Student’s team comprising, student conveners Mr. Akash Deshapnde, Ms. Nivedita Ankalagi, Ms. Ayat Attar and more than 150 students’ coordinators have planned, designed and executed all the events in a very professional manner.
KLS President Anant Mandgi, Chairman M. R. Kulkarni, GIT’s Governing Council Chairman U. N. Kalkundrikar and Principal Dr. A. S. Deshpande, Event Coordinator Dr. S. Shivukumar, felicitated singer Neeti Mohan. Later Neeti Mohan handed over the trophies to the winners, KLEs JNMC bagged the General Championship trophy of Aura -19 with this GITs Mega event Aura -19 is concluded.
